family vacation

We enjoyed our stay @ JJ's Bungalow. the pool was great, the short walk to the beach made our taking beach chairs and the need to go back and forth to the house so easy. The house was not as clean as we would have liked, the floors needed to be swept prior to our arrival to remove the sand and dirt. With this exception, it was very nice.

Bad!

So, I have pictures of everything we had to feel with from the start. The sheets were stained with blood. Ants took over our sink, multiple times. Which caused me to have to wash dishes multiple times just so we could have our cups to take to the beach with us. There was dead bugs in the floor: The vent fell in the living room. When we spoke with maintenance about it he acted like it was all our fault. Needless to say, our stay with this property was not enjoyable.

Recommended!!!

It's a nice and well-maintained place, up to the expectations. It has an issue only with one of the bathroom doors connected to the room with bunk beds (Not a big deal), and Property management does not respond when you message them from the VRBO app (Gladly, we did not have any significant concerns). Just a couple min's walk to the beach, you get a lovely lake view from the back and a tiny view of the beach. It's highly recommended.

Fun in the SUN, Cool in the POOL

We enjoyed our stay at JJ's Bungalow so much. We all loved the pool, two year old grandson and seven year old granddaughter worked on their swimming skills and had the time of their life. Loved being so close to the beach, only a very short walk and Thomas Beach Vacations was on top of any issues we had. Cherry Grove is such a great place to spend a Family Vacation as there was no heavy traffic and lots of great restaurants so close by. Hope to visit again real soon.

Property was in good location, fantastic pool. Furniture needs updating, and TV didn't get but limited channels. Very clean.

Great family getaway

We had a wonderful time! Our only complaint was that WiFi didn’t work, but advertised that it was connected. Once we arrived, we didn’t try to connect to WiFi until the next day. We logged in with the password info provided but still couldn’t connect. My husband is very handy and so he located the issue was with the router. We tried calling the property management company several times that day and the next and we’re placed on hold for longer than 10 minutes, so each time we hung up because we were trying to enjoy our vacation. We finally we able to get in touch with someone at the property management company on the 5th day of our 7 day vacation and they came out to take a look and determined the internet was not hooked up and they couldn’t get it reconnected without calling the owner. Nothing was ever resolved before we left on day 7 with WiFi, so that was our only complaint/frustration. It was a great location, cute house, and we had everything else we needed!
