"My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights. Very friendly staff and easy check in. Motel is very old but they updated the room beautifully and it was very clean. Very reasonable priced and we were given a coupon for a small breakfast and beverage at the local icecream shop in town. An added bonus. I will stay here again if in the area."

"Gables is a good option for a short stay. The rooms are clean though a little compact in size. There is open space outside the rooms to eat/drink or simply chill. The host Tom was very helpful and shared a lot of information regarding the activities around the area. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a short and budget friendly stay."

"We spent a night at this motel in September 2025 and were very impressed. It's a 2 star hotel but it has absolutely anything you might need. Their attention to detail and anticipating conveniences is something I haven't experienced at any other hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. There are three separate sitting areas outside as well as a couple of (clean) seats just outside the door of each room. The sitting areas in the front have comfortable lawn furniture with pillows and there is a fire pit and wood with a fire starter for guests who want a fire. There are also several cans of bug spray left out for guests to use. The property has a gas grill with cooking utensils if you want to BBQ. In the back sitting area there are games such as corn hole and some table and chairs, some of which are covered in netting if you want to avoid bugs. We actually were surprised at how few bugs we encountered in BC since during that time in Calgary we were getting swarmed by wasps and mosquitoes so it was a pleasant surprise. There is a separate bedroom area with a door and a full kitchen along with a kitchen table and chairs. They provided a snack pack with Biscoff cookies and other snacks as a welcoming package. So nice! There was dish soap and a box of kleenex and so many little niceties that you won't find in a 3 or 4 star chain hotels. We were travelling with 2 dogs and the hosts made us feel very welcome with our dogs. We will definitely be back. :)"

"A Great Stay for Us and Our Dogs! We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Celadon Lodge. From the moment we arrived, the owners Donna and Tony made us, and our dogs, feel completely welcomed. It's clear they love dogs and we were so happy to find somewhere to stay that our dogs could join us! The room (#2) itself was updated, spotless, spacious, and well equipped with a kitchen space to prep our meals and bbq in the back. They offer a breakfast in the front room and Donna was amazing and made me a yummy waffle with whip cream and fruit, best way to start the day! Conveniently located to all Radium has to offer and was the perfect spot to watch all the vehicles arrive for the big car show! Whether you're traveling with a furkid or not, this hotel goes above and beyond. We'll definitely be back—and our dogs also approve! Thanks for a great weekend See you next year! "
