Our one bedroom cabin nestled in the woods is a perfect getaway for couples! Whether relaxing in the romantic hot tub on the private deck, soaking in the indoor Whirlpool tub, or just enjoying the warmth of the fireplace together you will love the peace and solitude offered in Bear Hugs! Its time to unplug and unwind (although we have awesome high-speed internet, cable and Smart TVs so you won't miss any of your favorite shows). The central location is a favorite of many being only 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg or enjoying the Smoky Mountains National Park! Perfect Getaway
Brought our family together for quality time. The christmas decorations had us feeling right at home. Our 7 year old mastered Galaga. Our 9 year old learned how to play pool, and ended up beating us all by the end of the trip. The snacks were so thoughtful and well devoured in a short period of time by the kiddos. Chophouse was our favorite dinner, although Papa Leone's was a close 2nd! Wonderworks was our favorite activity, leaving us all extremely entertained and happy! Janet and Jack truly thought of everything any family or couple could think of- from the accomodations, to the activity and food suggestions, this trip was one for the books. Thank you Janet and J Jack, we will be forever grateful for the memories we created here!

My friends and I came for a weekend getaway to celebrate a Birthday. We found the cabin to be beautiful and peaceful!! Very inviting and homey feeling with the Chritmas Tree and decorations!! Check in was very smooth and the Cabin is clean and has all you need for a pleasant stay!! The Host was available for contact at anytime. The hot tub and back porch were awesome!! Great way to relax and soothe after a long day of shopping!! Looking for a nice, clean absolutely fantastic place to stay....This Is It!! Hope to return soon!! Also...the snacks and coffee being available were great!! Thank you so much!!

We had an amazing stay at Bear Hugs cabin. Janet was always very quick to respond and help with any little question that came up. The cabin is BEAUTIFUL! Located right in the mountains, close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the National park. Perfect location. The hot tub was hot and clean, lovely after a day of hiking. The bed was comfy, sheets and towels impeccably clean. There was a dresser and hangers to make it feel more homey. Jack and Janet even left a bowl of snacks and a note by the door which was so thoughtful, we loved that touch! The washer and dryer were a bonus as you to tend to get a bit muddy on the trails. The kitchen was perfect and had everything needed to make a meal which was nice because we cooked every night. The rocking chairs on the balcony outside were to cute and comfy, perfect to sit and read a book listening the sounds of nature. We loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking!

Peaceful Vacation
Sweet cabin nestled in a peaceful setting in the Smoky Mountains of TN. The property is well kept with a feeling of home. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay memorable with anniversary gifts and snacks.Communication with the hosts was timely and efficient. We would rate Bear Hugs and the hosts higher than 5 stars if possible. We highly recommend this beautiful cabin.

Great little getaway in the mountains
We had a wonderful time at Bear Hugs! It was quiet and clean and provided everything we needed for a great getaway. Our hosts were very kind and helpful and even left us a nice goodie basket full of treats. We would definitely consider staying there again.

This was the perfect spot for our anniversary weekend. Everything was perfect for us. Even the bed was comfortable! Hostess was very attentive to details. One piece of advice……… make sure all of your vehicle doors are locked and windows are all the way up. We thought we had but woke up the the hatch open to the back of our SUV. My husband and I first stay at the cabin was amazing. The owners of the cabin was super sweet and know how to take care of their guests. The cabin is located in a secluded and cozy area which is very romantic. The cabin was super clean everything that we could have needed was accessible to us. We had no complaints and will be back again to stay at that cabin.

Cabin was was quiet and secluded, had all we needed to cook but a few minor things. Internet was super spotty for two adults and didn’t work if you streamed Netflix. The bedding was too hot for summer time. Please check the jets for the hot tub- some didn’t work.
