There isn't enough time to tell all the things great about this property. The whole home was so cozy, yet spacious enough to not be in others way. Entire home was very clean. Our party was 6 adults and 1 teenager who loved the rec area with pool table and large tv for gaming. The fantastic fully equipped kitchen was great for our morning breakfast time together. The views are spectacular. The cabin is a bit of a drive up the mountain, but that is one of the reasons we loved this cabin. We wanted mountains, and that's what we got! 1st day saw a mamma bear and 2 cubs crossing the street near the cabin, last day/night we had a fabulous thunderstorm. I highly recommend this cabin.

Can I stay forever?

This cabin was phenomenal! The 4 King bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms and tvs worked perfect for our family. The pool table and the huge common area ( and huge tv) was awesome. The view? We have visited this area many times (10) and this was by far the best view we have ever had. Already planning on when we can return.

Beautiful Memories

The cabin was beautiful and perfect for my sister and I along with two cousins and their wives. Very neat and clean, had everything we needed for cooking, barbecuing and enjoying my favorite place on earth, the Smoky Mountains.

Class retreat

Our Sunday School class does a retreat to the Wears Valley every January. We have stayed in over 20 different cabins. This might be the first year when everything worked and we had zero problems during our stay. The owners were very communicative and the process was flawless from beginning to end.

Cliff Hanger Birthday Celebration

My family loved our stay. The place was decorated for the holiday which made our trip even more special. The place is clean and organized. Having 4 King suites is hard to find. Everyone had their own private space. Love the messages we had with the owners. Highly recommend.

Beautiful views, beautiful home

Annual girls’ weekend. We couldn’t have asked for more! The house was spacious, clean, and perfect for our needs. The hosts were very communicative. We’ve already talked about planning a return trip next year:)

Family visit from Ohio

Overall our stay was wonderful. Make sure you get to the cabin before it gets dark. The road is very winding & steep. There needs to be a small step stool in the cabin. All of the ladies were 5’ 2” or shorter & it was difficult to reach the plates & glasses. There were a lot of pots & pans, dishes to choose from. We had a great time

Birthday celebration

My mom, 2 sisters, and myself got together here for the week. We were so impressed with the property. It was even better than expected! Clean, well appointed, well furnished kitchen, and fabulous views. We enjoyed the fireplace on the deck, the hot tub, the pool table, the many deck chairs for just sitting, and the 4 king suites. We cooked a lot of our meals, played table games, and just hung out for the week. We took in a Smokies game, zip lining, a mountain coaster, mini golf, an outdoor church service, and pizza at the Abbey. We even got to see a mother bear and her triplet cubs, from a distance! We couldn’t have asked for a better week together!

Home was as described in the listing. Had everything we needed and then some it was perfect for our group (4 couples). Host was very quick to answer any questions. Beautiful mountain views. Definitely recommend

Fantastic experience!

Overall this was a great experience. The cabin was just as described. We did see bears every morning of our stay, so prepared for this. The drive up to the house from the main road was worth it for the views. Very peaceful and relaxing setting. Everything was in excellent condition and came with what we needed for our stay. Communications from the owners was prompt and they took care of one small issue very quickly. This was our first VRBO booking and was a great experience.

Great spot with great vistas!

Such a fun spot for a family vacation! Love the closeness to the Smokies and Townsend, and a beautiful property! Hosts were very communicative and the home was spotless (cleanest rental we’ve ever had). We will be back!

Family vacation at Cliff Hanger Lodge

Awesome stay at the beautiful Cliff Hanger Lodge in Sevierville, TN this week. Everything was as shown on line - even better. Home layout was perfect and accommodated the family of 2 couples, 1 young adult and 3 young girls (7, 9 & 11). Mountain View was BEAUTIFUL and refreshing. Plenty of comfortable seating on the decks including the seating area with the outdoor fireplace and the hot tub provided great relaxation in the evenings. Home is exceptionally clean and kitchen is expertly stocked with all the items needed to do home cooked meals - with extras. Even room for all 8 of us to sit together at the dining room table. Great place for our family games as well. Communication with the Host was clear, timely and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. As we were leaving, the girls asked if we could come back here next time. : ). Wonderfully memorable place to stay!

Breathtaking view!!

The view is breathtaking. The cabin is very well appointed and has so many extras that made our stay so special. The cabin and all interior/exterior features are spotless and look new. The owner's are very quick to respond. It could not have been any better!

Beautiful Cabin with Amazing Views!

We absolutely loved our stay - the cabin was incredibly clean and the hosts were great, always responding quickly to any questions. We loved the views and the outdoor fireplace. The location is great, as it's not in the middle of all the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge crowds. We will be back!

Gatlinburg adventure

Beautiful house and views of the mountains. Met all our needs. Well stock kitchen. Comfortable beds. Plentiful deck furniture. The ride up the mountain was a little scary. Communication with owners would have been 5 star if not having to email through vrbo. A direct contact would have been better incase needed. Not every issue is a 911 emergency call!! Overall good vacation. Loved seeing bears daily!!
