“This spot was the perfect location for a quiet, kid free girls weekend. The property is absolutely beautiful and has easy access to the water for some swimming or fishing. The camp itself was cozy but also spacious enough. We had 5 adults and we had plenty of space for activities, plus we all had our own bed! All in all we had an amazing weekend and made great memories that we will never forget.”

“We came up to get our kids (4&6) skiing at pleasant mountain. Location was convenient and well priced for a very low key long weekend. House had what we needed including games and puzzles. We were able to get out and explore both bridgton and North Conway easily. We spent little time outside on the property with some wet weather but imagine that would have upped the experience another notch.”

“The cabin was truly amazing. From the exposed timber beams to the cabin charm. It offered just enough amenities for a truly comfortable stay. The tucked away location yet close enough to stores allowed for true disconnect from every day life. Your stress diminishes completely once you settle in. “Great cabin, beautiful sunsets, & very peaceful. Those are three of the biggest stand outs. Lovell is a lovely town with super friendly residents..even had the opportunity to meet Stephen King! Debra is fantastic, from the small touches in the cabin, such as s’mores, to her communication to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our week. Even recommended Lovell Center Market for some delicious pizza. Cabin was spotless & the furniture was comfy, had a great nap in the recliner 😁 Overall……

“The house was perfect for so we could all get ready for a wedding nearby. Plenty of room for everyone and the owner even let us check in a few hours early so we could shower before an early rehearsal dinner. Will definitely be looking to stay again over the winter to go skiing!”

“We arrived when electric crews were restoring service to everyone, and when the generators stopped, the sounds of loons and ducks took over. The property is adorable, you are literally 2 steps from the water. We couldn't stop watching the ducks, different birds, a heron parade down the cove. It was also the perfect location to watch the solar eclipse, privately, quietly. The beds were so comfortable, the wood stove took the chill out of the main room, the quiet was just right. “This really is a beautiful setting - it is very private and quiet. The front porch is where we spent the most time in the evenings, hearing the loons call was priceless! The home was clean and well-appointed. Due to these positives, I give it a five star rating. However, a few things are needed to make it even better - repair the holes in the window screens. This was a very hot summer stay and there is no air-conditioning. I really wanted to open my bedroom window at night to get the cool……

“We loved this cozy cabin. It had a rustic feel but was updated enough to be comfortable. Location was great, felt isolated but still close enough to town. Peace and quiet on the frozen lake. The kids loved the little reading nook upstairs. There were plenty of games and toys for them, and they loved tuning in the antique radio. We loved sitting by the gas stove. “My family and I had a wonderful time at Camp Pleasant. Stearns pond is an incredibly serene and special place to relax, soak in the sun, play in the water, and just be. Location is close to other great destinations to explore abs enjoy all Maine has to offer. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you for being such fabulous hosts!!”

“This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.”

“We only had a very brief stay, alas, but made the most of the opportunity as best we could. A few updates are needed with the introductory welcome materials and equipment information that will be easy but useful to correct. Glad we had a chance to pause in western Maine, with a view of close mountains and the distant Presidential Range in NH. A couple of kitchen tweaks will be helpful for our cooking happy selves, though we enjoyed the spacious kitchen with adequate equipment, beautiful place……
