This was such a great rental. We stayed with our kids, grandbaby and my mother. My mom loved having her own space on first floor and the kids loved having the 3rd floor. We stayed on second floor and loved having the balcony where we could all sit and relax. Dining room table was big enough for us all to sit together for meals. Location was perfect. Close enough to get everywhere we wanted to see and then go back to the quiet side of the mountain. Hosts were great with responding to a couple questions we had. House was clean and had everything we needed to cook and be comfortable.

3 Generation family vacation

The only way to stay at the smokies

The property and home are beautiful. My family of 4 had a blast staying at Hill Hikers Haven. The pool table is a plus, and being able to cool off at the local community pool was perfect. The home is situated in the best part of the area, close to everything. Definitely would stay here again!

Spacious with beautiful views

This three story beautiful cabin had everything our family needed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans plus plenty of plates and glasses. The cabin is very close to country stores and antique shops.Both Publix and Kroger are within 20 minutes or so. We would definitely stay here again!

Just what we needed

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Hill Hiker's Haven. There were two couples, girls 21, 13, and 11, and myself. I asked ahead of time to have extra towels for all those girls with thick hair, and we had plenty. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Best of all was the view; it was spectacular and we got lots of gorgeous sunset photos. We played endless games at the long table and laughed our heads off at the Supermarket Sweep channel on the TV. We aren't shoppers and love going up into the mountains, especially Cades Cove, and this cabin was perfectly situated for that end of Wears Valley. Convenient, but also not long to drive to Pigeon Forge. My youngest granddaughter and I made the traditional early morning trip to Krispy Kreme and got home before the doughnuts had time to get cold. (This was particularly important because my husband always did this with her and he recently passed away.) We did go to the Titanic exhibit, but spent most of our time in Cades Cove even though it was cold and rainy. It's our happy place and a good antidote for our collective grief. This respite was much needed and facilitated by such a comfortable and lovely cabin. If everybody can ever get off work at the same time again, we'll be back. The Oglesbys, Wades, and Momma Ray

Beautiful fall weekend to celebrate a 70th bday and a 37th bday with family traveling from three different areas of Tennessee. Lovely, comfortable home. Spectacular views! Would definitely come again!

Hill hiker haven

It was great to have a part of our family in one house and enjoy spending time together while we waited for our Grandson's wedding. They even had a pool tournament, lots of happy times.

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family stay in the mountains! The house was clean and had everything we needed for the extent of our stay. We would 10/10 recommend! We hope to come back to stay again!

Cozy cabin with views

The cabin was a nice place for me and my family to stay at. We had no Internet when we showed up, but the owner got someone to come out the same day to fix it which was nice. We had a little bit of a view of the mountains that was nice to sit out on the porch with a cup of coffee. I would stay there again the next if it's available whenever we decide to come back to Tennessee.

Nice large home- beautiful scenery

Nice large comfortable house with great mountain view. Just far enough out of Pigeon Forge to get away from the traffic and mass of people. Everything was nice and clean. Needed a few more towels. Saw bears come by several times (not aggressive but not afraid of people) so ensure no food kept outside and car doors locked (saw one manage to open a car's door at neighbors!).

Perfect

Our family of 6 adults and 4 children (ages 11 months to age7) stayed at this cabin for 11 days. The cabin was spacious, clean and well stocked. ( including a blender and crockpot). The children were excited to see a mama bear and 3 cubs playing in the yard and making s’mores on the fire pit. The location was great for our daily excursions to Dollywood, Splash country, the island and Stampede. Even though we didn’t need anything the host checked in to see if we needed anything. She was a great host. The children really didn’t want to leave, the adults too. Thanks for a memorable vacation.

Fantastic!

Beautiful property and very clean. Owners had decorated the home for Christmas and was just beautiful. Definitely added to our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Quiet, relaxing, awesome views!

The house and property were very nice, clean, and kitchen well stocked. The screen porch was so nice. The only thing that would be an added asset would've been a hot tub!! We missed that there wasn't one when booking, but it was still a great place!

Pretty good, overall

Three levels with lots of stairs, made it difficult for the older folks. Ran out of propane and toilet paper, but renter was responsive to my texts. Would have liked more towels. It's a beautiful cabin in a good location. Getting to it requires the renter to drive up a steep and curvy road, which is thankfully paved. Overall, it worked out.

Family vacation

This was our first time staying in a cabin all together and we really enjoyed our time there. The Host was very responsive when we had an issue with the door and had it fixed in a timely manner. We loved the Mountain View’s and the quietness of Townsend. Wished the pool and fishing pond were in the neighborhood of the cabin, but we filled out time with other fun things and it wasn’t a big deal. Can’t wait for our next family vacation!

Cabin in the clouds

What a lovely cabin and it was quite spacious to take on our family. I loved the fact that it had 3 levels so that each group had their own space. Super quiet and the views are breathtaking. We saw a bobcat the first night and then a bear with her 3 cubs the next morning. Curt and Julie were very responsive and very easy to work with.

Amazing View and Bear sighting

The house is fantastic, the layout is perfect. First floor pool table was a lot of fun. The views are outstanding. Close enough to Pigeon Forge to go for dinner. The surprise that was fantastic is a mama bear and 3 cubs stroll down the side yard and mama goes to check out the trash cans. The cubs run and frolic and play, so fun to watch. Highly recommend this house, it has everything you need.

Visiting the Smoky Mountains

Great location, close to many of the tourist sites and national park. There were 6 of us and plenty of room to be together or apart. Beds were very comfortable. We loved the second-floor deck with rocking chairs and porch swing. It was nice to have a second fridge for just drinks in the game area. We enjoyed winding down in the evening playing pool. The only areas of feedback I would provide is making sure guests know to bring extra wash clothes for the bathrooms; there was only about 1 per bathroom which wasn't enough for a large family. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful place to stay

We recently spent 5 days at this property. The house was perfect for our family. We did have a couple maintenance issues upon arrival, which to our surprise were already being addressed by the home owner and maintenance guy Mike!! What a relief for us !! The home owners were very responsive and helpful to answer questions before and after we arrived. This house was perfect! The location was great, quiet neighborhood and easy to locate. My daughter, her husband and 10 month old granddaughter stayed on the bottom floor which was very nice for them. They had the quiet and privacy they needed. My teen daughter and friend had the third floor which was perfect for them to have their space and time to stay up late. There is plenty of parking. We will definitely stay here again ! 5 stars ⭐️

Magical experience

This cabin is stunning the view is awe inspiring! There was plenty of room for my large family of 10 people. My children and grand kids loved all the space, jetted tub, and exploring the neighborhood. We had a mama bear visit almost every morning with her 3 cubs! It was magical the amount of wildlife we encountered in this gorgeous peaceful place! We had a raccoon who was too friendly and would beg for food at the door, we did not feed him but he was cute. We had a brown bat who stayed on the deck rail for days, wild turkeys, lizards, so many birds, a bear on the upper deck checking out the grill was a highlight when he peeked in the window! The unit was comfortable, quiet, and well maintained. The owners were so helpful and easy to communicate with to resolve any issue. Would rent again, especially since they don't allow fireworks in the neighborhood. We will miss the amazing view and bears!

Great family getaway

Just returned from a 7 day stay at the cabin with 7 adults and one infant. The large circular driveway was perfect for thee cars to get in and out. The kitchen was well-equipped and even included a hand mixer and a high-speed blender. We had rain most of our stay, but were able to be outside and to stay dry on the large porches. The screened porch with lights and the open porch with the firepit were where we spent most of our time - grilling, drinking coffee, reading, playing games and watching a mama bear with her cubs. The location is perfect too. Townsend is a lovely town with wonderful shops and restaurants. We were only a short drive to some National park trails. Although we had a few issues during our stay, Julie responded to our texts quickly and was able to get them resolved. She was a superb host who genuinely cared about our experience. I highly recommend booking a stay here.
