“Best place we've ever stayed”

“The stay was nice until the last day. We left to get some stuff for the travel back home. We returned to the hotel and a church event wouldn’t let us back in the parking lot. They directed us to go around the corner to a parking lot not connected to the hotel. We called the hotel no answer along with a member called from a room in the hotel and no answer. ”

“Breakfast was good. Staff was nice and respectful. Room was clean. Parking was easy”

“No included breakfast for the high priced rooms, bad. Small pool for the “tallest” building in Virginia and high priced room, bad. No available vending on any floor, bad. ”

“The room was poorly furnished. The water in the tub wouldn’t cut off it was more than a drip. The room smelled. And worst of all I was double billed for the room. I paid Expedia and La Quinta. ”

“Breakfast is always on spot , I chose Tru for this reason as well. I have stayed several times already and no complain or whatsoever. Hopefully there will be microwave in the rooms or at least in the lobby for guests to use.”

“Roaches. Broken appliances. Dirty sheets. Never again.”

“It’s an older property as fast as HI’s go but still clean and comfortable. Even better, the staff were great! Bryan at the front desk is someone I remembered from a stay at the HGI in Chesapeake - top notch. Karen hosted breakfast and sang softly to the soundtrack. I had my headphones and YT music but didn’t need them. People make the difference and this team rocked it! Don’t hesitate at all to stay at this one ”
