This home sleeps 7 guests comfortably with the following configuration:
-Bedroom 1 - Sleeps 2 in a Queen Bed
-Bedroom 2 - Sleeps 3 in 3 Twin Beds (2 of them bunk beds and a pull out trundle, great for kids!)
-Primary Bedroom - Sleeps 2 in a King Bed
This home features a magnificent, spacious open floor plan. Enjoy a game of chess in the bay window or entertain friends and family whilst cooking dinner in the state of the art kitchen. The home includes three gorgeous bedrooms, located on the second floor. There are two full size bathrooms, equipped with all the essentials. The master bedroom includes a laptop friendly workspace, perfect for catching up on emails. The second bedroom has its very own patio that overlooks a playing field of the local school. You will also have full access to enjoy the private backyard and patio areas to sit back and relax for your morning cup of coffee, or evening glass of wine in the warmer months.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home. It is not shared. There is a tenant occupying the lower basement level of the home, they have no access to the main house.
The Neighborhood:
Capitol Hill is the largest historic residential neighborhood in Washington DC, stretching easterly in front of the United States Capitol along wide avenues. It is one of the oldest residential communities in Washington, and with roughly 35,000 people in just under 2 square miles (5 km), it is also one of the most densely populated. Capitol Hill is a wonderfully walkable neighborhood. Union Market, Trader Joe’s, as well as many other shops, restaurants, and national monuments are just a stone's throw away, promising endless opportunities and exploration.
Getting Around:
The Streetcar stop is about a 5 minute walk from the property and will take you to Union Station, which is the closest metro train station. You can hop on the red line at Union Station to get to Dupont Circle, The National Zoo, and countless other points of interest in the city. The 90 and 92 bus stops are about a 10 minute walk from the property. These buses will take you to Noma and U Street.
