"We really enjoyed our stay at The Iris. We stayed in a superior suite which was bright and light and with all that we needed for four nights. It turned out we were in a great area with lots of delicious dining options and a short walk from King Street which is the Main Street in Charleston. We walked everywhere. "Such a gem of a spot! We loved all the special touches that made this seem like a retreat getaway while at the same time being comfortable and like a home away from home. Breakfast was delicious. Beds were amazing. Wine and cheese was such a nice treat every day. Staff was very knowledgeable about the area; we were never disappointed in their restaurant and tour recommendations. We can’t wait to return! "

In addition to cleaning and nicely decorating, the management tends to details such as umbrellas next to the door, snacks and coffee in the kitchen, and toiletries in the bathrooms.
