“The room was fabulous! My only complaint would be the parking situation. My car was 1 inch too big to park at the hotel carousel, so we had to park at a nearby parking garage. That ended up being very expensive!! And I was afraid to walk back to the hotel from the parking garage by myself in the dark. ”

“I had read reviews before booking hotel. It sounded great in reviews but I was disappointed. The best thing I can say about it was location was excellent. I had a 5 minute walk to my meetings which was great. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean but could use a refresh. All the hotels in Historic Charleston are expensive so this one was no exception. Just thought it would have been nicer. I did have a pleasant exchange with the lady who cleaned rooms. I appreciated her conversation on the……

“A lovely hotel oozing charm and elegance. It is conveniently located at the historic centre of Charleston. Breakfast is ordered the night before and is brought to your room and may be eaten in there or on the room's balcony. In the evening there are complementary sparkling wine, cheese and other nibbles available. The only thing missing is a communal lounge to sit in although the front porch is lovely.”
