"I have stayed at several hotels on the island, but I always choose Americas Cup Inn because of it’s convenient location to Thames St., walkability to all the popular restaurants and bars, and accessibility to the ocean for boat cruises. The property has a private roof terrace and provides complimentary breakfast with everything you can imagine after a long night. Lastly the staff is very friendly and always willing to help."

"Interesting history to the Jailhouse Inn. I wish they would have more historical decoration. We were in room 8 on the main floor. The stairs were above us so it was noisy when people walked up and down the stairs. Otherwise street noise was tolerable. Nice breakfast with cold cuts, cheese and fresh berries. No coffee maker in the room, but coffee was always available in the breakfast room. Small in room fridge located in the closet. They have parking lot located to the left of the Inn."

"Suites are incredibly large and comfortable. Staff is very accommodating. Large pools and plenty of places to lounge. Walking distance to everywhere!"

"Our condo faced the harbor....fabulous! So relaxing watching the boats come in and out. The birds and ducks, just wonderful. We will keep abreast on availability to stay there again. I have 3 friends that want to come with us the next time we go! I hope we can find 3 condos!!!"

"My wife and I came for a bucket list visit. The inn was cozy, convenient to everything we wanted to do, and we had a beautiful harbor view. There are bigger rooms, more luxurious hotels, but it was perfect for us. Stairs are the only drawback, but staff was helpful and friendly across the board. "

"Clean, well supplied small apartment in Newport with W/D and window AC units made for an enjoyable visit. Note that the only bathroom is accessible through the bedroom, but with family/children was not a problem"
