“Literally won't stay anywhere else while on Key Largo. I cannot speak highly enough about the staff and how they go above and beyond to make each guest stay special. I was a Solo traveler just spending one night. They upgraded my room to a beach view from a garden View. The homemade breakfast and muffins with frittatas are amazing. Everything about this place is Old Florida and family ran.”

“Recently had a family reunion at Matacumbe Resort staying in 3 different units. All three were different and unique which was fun. The pool was amazing and well maintained. The playground kept the kids busy. The boat dock area was convenient but tight.”

“This place is a dump! The Photos are deceiving.The front of the property is a scrapyard piled with garbage. Our cottage was ant infested. There's no pool, no restaurant, no beach games. The swimming area is literally a 15ft wide shallow area. Fishing boats surround the wading area. The workers are less than desirable. They live in campers in front of the property. I speak the truth. I did not feel safe there. Please don't make me change my review. I will have to call your corporate office & file……

“The check-in was easy and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the location is great for our trip, the price per night is competitive, unfortunately there was no water pressure in the shower, and 1 of the fan/light fixtures did not have a functioning remote. We have enjoyed stays here in the past, and we hope the team can correct the issues as we would stay here again on future trips if they do so.”
