“Clean room, great restaurants in the property. Staff is very friendly and a big shout out to the staff at the Cheeca Lodge Spa esthetician Milly and the front desk Robbeisha that made my relaxing spa experience very enjoyable.”

It was a great place to meet your neighbors as the porches are very close. The swimming pool is a great addition to the property! If going back to the area, I would definitely go there again! “Drop Anchor was a nice experience. We stayed for two nights..no major issues except for the air-conditioning in our room wasn't covering the space inside enough, it was a small a/c unit and i think it's capacity wasn't enough to cool the room. So we were a bit uncomfortable based on that. But otherwise everything else was up to standard. I would consider visiting there again in the future tho. Staff very helpful and friendly, amenities nice and access to restaurants and other activities near by.”

“It was such a beautiful hidden gem. We loved it. We fished off the dock and caught lots with shrimp. The restaurant across the street, Ballyhoos, was absolutely amazing and in walking distance if you didn't want to have to drive far. The rooms were clean. They texted us to make sure we had all we needed. They responded instantly when I asked if they had a steamer for my clothes (there was an iron in the room). It was waiting in the room for us when we got back. Hospitality, cleanliness,……

“Recently had a family reunion at Matacumbe Resort staying in 3 different units. All three were different and unique which was fun. The pool was amazing and well maintained. The playground kept the kids busy. The boat dock area was convenient but tight.”
