“Simonton Historical Inn was everything we expect of a Key West B & B. Beautiful lush landscape and gardens, historically significant buildings (think 1880's). The wood floor of our room had a noticeable slant to the left ( to be expected of a historical building and charming.). The staff could not have been friendlier and they were very helpful with every question answered. “The staff on the phone was very nice and checked in on us frequently however our room was dirty, the comforter was stained with yellow spots the toilet constantly ran even after the came and “fixed” it. Our tv also didn’t work. Maintenance came to fix the tv as well and it only worked that day the rest of the time our remote only could turn the tv on but we couldn’t actually watch anything as it was stuck on the Home Screen. They told us we had a late checkout but at 1045 the housekeepers came……
