“Me and my fiancé came a few times to tiki bar, but never stayed in the hotel. This time we decided to book a room and I loved everything about Gilbert’s! Check in was easy and took only a couple of minutes. We got room 112 and it was very clean, smell good, ac worked perfectly! Even bed and pillows were pretty comfy. View was really nice too. What also surprised me it was very quiet at night, we slept like babies :) Oh, and we saw a pack of dolphins passing by so close to the dock - it was……

“The resort was a great place to unplug! Adult only, clean, private and quiet. We were upgraded upon arrival to a waterfront suite which provided any necessay kitchen appliances and accessories as well as an updated bathroom, king size bed and roomy living dining/bed combo. The host recommended eateries and attractions and offered to make reservations if needed. There were kayaks and paddle boards for the guests to use free of charge and plenty of chairs to just chill. “The townhouse was just perfect for my family of 5. Erick was a wonderful host and was so enthusiastic to share the best ways to spend our days in the Keys. Mariners club was very nice. The large pool was fantastic and really never crowded. The gym was perfect. My family used it every morning. We were happy the house had pickleball supplies so we could play. So fun!! We had a wonderful time!The only downside was the sargassum that washed ashore and rotted that really made it impossible to use the……

“The covered private outdoor space was great. We spent all our time there. We enjoyed using the outdoor kitchen. The outdoor shower & half bath was very convient. Inside we did not like that the second bedroom was part of the kitchen/lounge area. No privacy.”

“We arrived and the room was dirty. We had pre-requested a room with double beds but was moved to a room that did not have this. A credit card was taken for deposit and charged after our stay. We had to call 10 times just to get in touch with someone to help. Eventually we were able to get in touch with a manager and the charge was reversed. However, it took a lot of extra time on our end to remedy.”
