The hotel is right next to the beach with its own private access. It also has deck with picnic tables facing the beach. There is a pinic area with grills. However, the grill are a bit rusty, you need to really scrub it before use. The rooms with tiles are better than those carpets. The carpetted ...
Hotel has had some work done since our last stay. Exterior looks better. We stay here all the time. It's not the Hilton, but for a few days with the family it's just what u want. Clean with a friendly staff. Close to most everything. Will continue to stay here on out next visit.
Stayed one night when we arrived to OBX on a Friday. Our rental wasn't ready until Saturday. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Ordered a pack n play, which they brought to our room right away. The pack n play was clean. The room was quiet and perfect for a short overnight stay. The mini fridge ...
For our first visit to the Outer Banks, we booked the Hilton Garden Inns for 2 nights to explore the northern end of the island. We were happy with our balcony view of the ocean. We liked walking on the pier which was right next to the hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay. Absolutely loved the location! Quiet spot but still close enough to activities!
Quiet mom/pop style motel, perfect for unplugging from regular days back home. Walk to the beach from your room, quiet beach, just down from Jannette's pier, walk to restaurants. Perfect baby moon for us ❤️
Had a good experience during my five days at the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic. Room was good. Hardwood floors not a good idea when you are that close to the beach. Pool was fine, even though it does need a good skimming in the afternoon. Thought the staff was very friendly. I would not suggest ...
This is a great little hotel. The staff are super friendly. The room was very clean. Rooms are small but who stays in the room at the beach? Very close to lots of restaurants and the pier. The bed was a little worn but not to bad. Will definitely stay again
This place is awesome. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but this is a great place to stay. Very clean inside and the staff is great. Rates are great, especially in October which is when I go. The parking lot could be difficult if you're driving something big like an Expedition, but it's ...
Our stay was very lovely. The staff was friendly and courteous and the rooms were kept clean. It was only 2 blocks from the beach with a shuttle offered. Although the rooms were a little small, we did have a mini fridge and a microwave as well as access to a coin operated laundry facility.
Confusion at check in but once that was cleared up ( gave me a room that was already occupied). Nice pool and room was spacious.
I really wanted a stay that was not a "box" hotel. First Colony Inn was just the place. It is on the historical registrar having originally been built in 1932. There is no elevator, so if you don't like stairs, get a first floor room. The climb is well worth it though. The rooms have a " homey" feel. ...
We enjoyed our stay at the OBX Days Inn in Kill Devil Hills. We actually received a room upgrade. The staff was very courteous, the free included breakfast was good, the rooms we were in were clean, but the wifi was kinda laggy.
Our room was located on the top floor with the balcony facing the ocean. The room was nicely updated with great amenities. We have stayed at several Best Western suites and Holiday Inn Suites this year and this room had by far the best layout. It felt like we were at home. I would highly recommend ...
Our room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant makes a delicious cheeseburger, which they packed up as a to go order for me to take down to the beach. Overall, a good experience.
