"For a specific type of traveller"
I loved my stay here. The hotel, rooms, food and, of course, front row seating to watch the cliff divers. If you have come for beaches, sterile crowded high rise hotels and trinket shopping and to spend time on your WiFi, this is not it. No beaches and a taxi ride to heart of town, no WiFi. Walking around a working neighbourhood, beautiful scenery which takes you around a promontory. The rooms are old, the tile pigments have worn away but it's still lovely with cosy rooms, comfortable beds and I got a big balcony. Door lock was broken so I stood around with increasing members of staff, laughing as everybody had a go. Great history which you can feel...popular with celebrities many years ago. There are English speaking staff, they have to be hunted down though and everyone is consistently friendly. OXO small supermarket almost across the road with many types of beer...buy a bottle of each to taste and enjoy on your balcony. There is a fridge in the room. Drawbacks: food is pricey with no options other than to go into town. If you want a genteel Acapulco, this is it.

"Nice, clean, good for the price"
My room was enough big, clean, bed was confortable, climatisation & wifi were working well. Nice pool located in the middle of the hotel site. A one minute walk will bring you to some small local restaurants for economical breakfast. Most room at first floor have their private parking lot just beside the room, (felt like home) and second floor need to wish hôtel is not full. (Worst case you will be on the street, which is not that bad) You will need to take à taxi to go to the beach (5 minutes ride/not costly) or take a 15-20 minutes walk. If you plan to visit different places at Acapulco (rather than sitting at the beach all day) that is good choice

"Fantastic View"
This place is so easy to find and the location is right in the middle of everything. The street side is very noisy I would suggest the pool view or the ocean view which has a nice older patio to enjoy the view. I do not speak Spanish but the management did their best to accommodate us. I do not mind staying at an older motel and they keep the grounds in pretty good shape. The pool was enjoyable and the access to the beach is perfect.. Ok so the rooms could use a remodel but for the price is more then reasonable. I would go back in a heartbeat.. We did get to stay at the Mayan Golf resort, south Acapulco as well, so we got a chance to stay at the very nice and the older part of the city and we liked the difference..

"Great view from lobby"
When I arrived at the hotel I was a bit disappointed. The pictures online made the hotel look alot nicer. Also, my standards were high because I was comparing to Cancun hotels. After I got over my first impressions the hotel wasn't bad at all. It's right infront of the beach, they have nice sun umbrellas. There are restaurants, markets, vendors all around. There's are some negatives (which every hotel has) the elevators are ridiculously slow! There are only four and only 12 Ppl fit per elevator. Mind you, there are 19 floors. The hotel was booked pretty much full capacity the two weeks we were there. We pretty much took the stairs all the time which was simple to do because our room was on the third floor. If we were higher up it would have really sucked. Something else that wasn't so great; the AC didn't work well. We had to request a fan which worked fine. Leaving this on a positive note the hotel provides awesome excursions for extremely affordable prices. For two Ppl we did three excursions for $150 (American).
