We had a comfortable stay at Ramada. The service was good and the food in the restaurant Junoon was excellent. They provide airport pick up and drop off, which is convenient. Everything was good, and breakfast was included. To reach the hotel from the transfer terminal, it’s a quick 5-10 minute walk—just follow the signs (clearer ones would be nice). Need to pass through security again to the hotel.

You will encounter men women and children panhandling. At least in my part of town. They are not aggressive. At the same time, the city is going through exciting change and growth. I will be back, I enjoyed the culture and food.

Unique culture and traditions
Addis Ababa has a lot of work to do to make this city a real tourist attraction. I think big improvements in the physical and social environment are needed.
Connectivity in Addis (both mobile phones and internet) is always challenging. The hotel has good internet connectivity though!
I love Addis - lots to see and do, and good food and coffee.
