“This hotel is always welcoming. I like the peace of the location and the absence of the big chain feel. Staff are like family and hotel has character. This stay over Xmas was enjoyable and provided a good base for family visits. Breakfast is legendary and a great start to the day. “I arrived a day early by accident 😬 but the staff were amazing and changed my day for me which i was truly grateful for. The room was spotless with a heater, fan, iron, hairdryer, kettle etc... I had a lovely evening swim in the heated pool. “Stayed overnight for a wedding near by. A lovely welcome from the receptionist. Easy check in and a fantastic room. The room was clean, tidy and well decorated with lots of retro items. A well stocked hamper for those that are tempted with treats. The breakfast was delicious, I tried the full breakfast on a skillet with fresh orange juice and a filter coffee.
