“This is a very basic motel with a 1960s vibe. The room was clean, and we were safe, but I would only choose to stay here again for reasons of price. The beach on the Harbor was a pleasant place to sit, but not at all safe to swim especially for kids. It was kind of like staying at your elderly aunt’s house. “Friendly staff. I stayed in the cottage building and found it musty smelling.
Otherwise, it had a very slow draining tub mold on the bathroom walls and carpet seem was loose, running down the main part of the floor. The curtain opening the closet was dirty..”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Coonamessett. We chose it because we were planning to visit Martha’s Vineyard, and its location was very convenient for getting to Woods Hole, where we caught our ferry. It was also a convenient distance from the ferry parking lot.
Tish at the front desk was patient, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The property itself is charming, with beautiful grounds and a lovely, quaint feel.
