He helps us carry our luggage and delivers breakfast to the room every day. We booked for three nights. The room has a large balcony with beautiful scenery. We can drink and watch the sunrise on the balcony. The room facilities are very new and clean, which is very worthwhile." I unfortunately had a slightly cracked shower head upon my arrival, it wasn't visible to the naked eye but sprayed when turned on. I reported this to them Saturday evening and it was fixed Sunday morning - very efficient! The hotel is lovely and in an excellent location at the main hub of Amalfi, right by the shops and only a minute away from the travel hub and sea, with a direct view onto the plaza, overlooking the basilica and mountains. The only issue I had here was the noise, please bear in mind this is during the off season though, but they carried out street cleansing from 3am - trash collection, leaf blowing and gully cleansing. There appeared to be next to no noise insulation, resulting in a clear audible of the plaza activity. This was the only issue, otherwise the hotel excelled at everything." Its lovely hotel clean with parking available was essential for us a bit expensive but . Staff very friendly and will do anything for you . We had one evening meal in the hotel -not as much to say about food , we had enjoyed meal out in town so many places to eat . We had few drinks on rooftop bar beautiful views excellent staff - drinks more expensive but its 4 star hotel , lovely settings just enjoy it . My daughter got sick on a holiday weekend and the staff managed to find a physician to come to the room to treat her. They went out of their way to make the stay comfortable and special for us. The room was well appointed and always cleaned or turned down in an inviting way. They have a firepit and rocking chairs out in the cloister area - which was very charming and decorated for the festive holiday season."
