Big rooms close to airport. In room refrigerator/freezer so if you caught fish you’re taking home there’s a place to put your fish to keep them frozen.

Aircrest Motel has clean, comfortable, well maintained rooms and friendly staff. It’s a two story motel in a rainy, watery area, so the exterior is not fancy. Parking on the property is limited; we got the last sort-of spot on the end when returning from dinner at 10 PM. I recommend Aircrest Motel as a place to stay up to a few nights and would stay here again if passing through the area, like we were this time.

The hotel has nice feel when you walk into the lobby, albeit a hallway, but it's clean and spacious. The room was very comfortable and the towels were clean and fluffy.

Hotel was away from downtown and affordable for Alaska standards. Very clean and within walking distance of the Bear Paw which was a really good restaurant.

The property is a good, and if everything had worked I would have probably given it a good to excellent review. We stayed one night, arriving late after our flight. The problem started the next morning when we got up early to shower....no hot water. Tried calling front desk multiple times.....there is no attendant from 11-7 to call with any room issues. We needed to leave early the next day for our scheduled activities. Tried using stove top burners to heat water, but they didn't work either. Ended up heating up enough water in the sink with coffee pot and microwave to take a bird bath. Got a whole $20 credit for our inconvenience.
