Appalachian Quilt Cabin Centrally Located Within The Hocking Hills

Adults-only cabin in New Plymouth
A true piece of history located at Fiddlestix Village, the Appalachian Quilt Cabin is Fiddlestix's very own original 1920's farm house. This cabin dates back to a time that is now long forgotten. Old-timers in the area tell us that the family that once occupied the home operated a gas pump out front, sold sundries and basic goods from what is now the living room. Antique advertising signs and Appalachian art are now part of the cabins decor throughout to highlight this history.
The Appalachian Quilt Cabin was once the hub of a 160 acre farm owned by an early Vinton County family. Later another industrious family raised nine children on the farm which served as a extremely lucrative truck garden. At one point in history our little farm house even served as a cafe that went by the name of "The Red Cottage". Now located on just over 5 acres this charming little farm house serves as the hub of Fiddlestix Village and is used for an unforgettable Hocking Hills guest lodging experience.
Rooms open to patios. Bathrooms include showers.

Hocking hills weekend
We had a great stay at the Fiddlestix village. We stayed at the Appalachian Quilt Cabin. Everything was just as described on the website. The cabin was super cute. It was easy to find. And it was a short drive to Hocking Hills. We loved it and will recommend to anyone! We would love to stay there again! Thanks!

Fun in Hocking Hills
This property is in a perfect location if you plan to hike the trails of Hocking Hills. A short drive into Logan provided us with several restaurants. Jarod was easy to work with and responded quickly!

2/5 Poor

Not what we expected
When we got to the cabin, the heat was not turned on and it was really cold. It took 3-4 hours to warm the cabin up. The couch was broken down so much that if you sat on an end, you fell over to the middle. When I pulled out the pans to make dinner, the pots were cut up and dirty, one even had some kind of white powder in it. They ask you to put the trash in the dumpster, but do not supply trash bags, you are supposed to wash the dishes, but no dish soap, there were 4 paper towels left on the roll an no more. I had to go buy the supplies just to follow the directions in the email that was sent. Anyone should also know that the WIFI barely works. If I was in the twin bedroom, I could use it. Anywhere else in the cabin, it did not hardly work at all.

Perfect Getaway for a Quiet Family Thankgiving!
Jarod was absolutely wonderful, very responsive and gave us faith in what good customer service SHOULD look like. Property was quaint, the house was clean and the fire pit was a lot of fun! Would love to return again and rent the whole 'village' with our extended family next year!
