“Nicely restored old savannah home. Not great for light sleepers though. ”

“Location and service were excellent. The 5 o'clock wine & cheese hour was very nice. One night had a historian discuss the hotel and local stories, and the next night was music by a local guitarist. One thing to keep in mind, if you are mobility impaired, our room had one of those antique bathtubs and one may find them difficult to get in or out. So ask for a room more accommodating.”

“What a terrific hotel right in the heart of Savannah! The staff are incredible, the hotel and rooms are beautiful and the rooftop pool and bar are wonderful! Highly recommend staying here as it is super easy to walk to everywhere, from River Street up Bull Street to see all of the historical sites and the amazing restaurants!!”

“Room was a little small. That may not be like all the others. Staff was friendly and the breakfasts were good. The complimentary cheese / charcuterie snacks w wine and desserts w port were well tasty and well-attended, allowing residents to get together and talk about lives, experiences, restaurants and tour activities.”

“This was our first stay at McMillan Inn. It was somewhat of an unplanned trip and just by chance we booked one night here. Jackpot!! We booked the Montgomery Room and it was like a storybook dream. The clawfoot tub, the king bed with fireplace, huge windows, and on and on. The property is magical. Sitting on the front porch swing at night with a glass of wine is worth the stay. Chelsea greeted us when we arrived and helped us find parking and then gave us a tour. Of course there were fresh baked……

“My partner and I spent four very comfortable nights at the Drayton in March. Everything about the Drayton is marvelous. Welcoming and helpful staff, comfortable, clean facility, unusual and charming lobby, excellent food and bar, splendid rooftop lounge. On top of all this, the location could not have been better. ”

“The corner room is noisy at night- there were many people gathering near the hotels till 1 or 2 am and you could hear them. There was an Irish bar across from the hotels which you would hear the music playing at night. There was coffee stain in the carpet of the room I stayed. The hotel has good hospitality and the bed was comfortable. ”

“I was a little bummed this time around. I’ve stayed here every time I’ve come to Savannah. First time though in a 2 bedroom. Sad the windows faced the alley. My room was next to the elevator. Obviously meant lots of noise throughout the day and night. Walls very thin. I must’ve been near a business because I could hear people’s names being called for their order in my bedroom. Also could hear the trash cans/workers in the alley as early as 4am. Also upon first entry a large water bug ran across……
