This house is ski, board, bike, hike paradise and great for groups of up to 7\. Located on the slopes of Beech Mountain just steps from the top of lift 1 (Lower Shawneehaw). Restaurants and provisions are just minutes away. First, a note about "roundhouses" generally--they are not huge properties. The size was perfect for me and my wife. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. and we were very comfortable. The owner has provided some nice amenities--lots of TVs, bedside phone chargers, nice dishes and glassware, and a neat (but fake) "fireplace."We spent much of our time on the great deck that overlooks the town and surrounding mountains. We never got tired of watching folks come and go, plus we had a resident woodchuck, a couple of chipmunks, and a massive eight-point buck and his family with us every day. Lots of hummingbirds, too. Communications with the owner were prompt and effective. Super nice folks who are eager to see their tenants happy. We were beyond blessed to have found this rental. The host was extremely helpful and communicative. The property was clean and perfect for my husband and I and our 5 children. The ski lift is just steps from the front door which made our days on the mountain so convenient and comfortable with 7 people.
