very nice hotel to stay in for trips to bath and surrounding areas. very nice room and gorgeous seating areas/bar. room not being cleaned and made up was a disappointing aspect. we didnt have a fridge which was annoying and our room was smaller then expected. staff lovely but the bar staff on their phones infront of customers playing tiktoks all the time. would return but theres flaws.

Overall our stay was just ok. We felt the property lacked in upkeep. It was very old in style and would benefit from an uplift. Stained carpets, paint jobs required, new bathrooms needed. The light fittings above the beds were dangerous in our opinion, especially to children with prying hands, and the shower didn’t work very well. We had to use the bath. Having said all that. The bed linens and towels were clean and the staff were very helpful.
