"We just returned from an amazing stay at this 2-bedroom condo, and it exceeded every expectation! The location is unbeatable — truly just 7 minutes to Schuss Mountain for incredible skiing (or summer golf), right in the heart of Shanty Creek Resort, and only a quick drive to Short's Brewery in Bellaire for beers and pub grub. We loved how central it was to all the best activities in Northern Michigan.The condo itself is super cozy and well-equipped. The fireplace was the highlight — nothing beats curling up by the fire after a day on the slopes or out exploring. The living space felt warm and inviting, the kitchen was fully stocked for easy meals, and both bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of space for our group.Everything was clean, thoughtfully set up, and the resort amenities (pools, hot tubs, shuttles) made it feel like a true vacation upgrade. Whether you're here for winter sports, golfing, hiking, or just relaxing with a beer from Short's, this spot is ideal.We can't wait to come back — highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect mix of adventure and comfort. 5 stars all the way! "The Beaver’s Lodge is brand new and well appointed. It has a very comfy feel; it’s not a man cave. There are games for the kids, the kitchen is well setup, plenty of space and everything works. The owners are very responsive. The beds are very soft. Towels are brand new. Spotless clean. "

"House was wonderful and felt warm and cozy despite sleeping so many! The host was great and the home had everything you could ever need or want for a stay. We stayed over New Year's week during a snow storm and loved having the house decorated for the holidays. We felt like we were at a friends home, not a rental. The driveway was plowed and ready for us when we arrived and throughout our stay. You definitely need AWD or 4WD to get up in the winter! The view is beautiful. Shanty Creek is a short drive away and Bellaire is just down the road - super convenient location. We especially enjoyed having the Glacier Hills Trails right around the corner for snow-shoeing. Can't wait to stay again!"
