Agreed with all comments about the exceptional home made style breakfast. However, the second night there was a group playing guitar and singing. With over 200 years house, this was not welcomed especially after a tiring long ski day. Phoned hotel and also Expedia on that same night but both myself and Expedia could not get hold off host for resolution. Got to know next Morning that the voicemail probably was played and heard but did not take action. These days with many craziness in the news, we as guest cannot confront with another group on our own to take risk especially with kids.

We felt at home the minute we walked through the door thanks to Michael and the coziness of the Inn. There was a fire in the fireplace and cookies on the table. The house looks like it’s been yelled from a postcard. Sat against the mountains. So glad I picked this place to stay on my trip through Vermont. Authentic Vermont hospitality. A Delightful Stay
The Ira Allen House offers comfortable accommodations that are more “homey” than any hotel. From the 200-year-old charm of the house to the wonderful innkeepers, Michael and Kevin, every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast featured ingredients from local farms whenever possible. We will certainly be back, and we highly recommend the Ira Allen House to all who may be seeking a place to stay while traveling to the Manchester, Vermont Area.
