Great location, Jacuzzi did not work, not clean
We have stayed in Cowboy Heaven every year for the past 5 years. This was the worst stay we have had there yet. We stayed 5 nights— the jacuzzi temperature panel was broken by previous guest and was inoperable our entire stay; the dishes/ pots were dirty/ greasy, and trash was not picked up by service staff (had to ask multiple times), After waiting all week for the jacuzzi repair, Natural Retreats finally offered us a $40 per day refund. Lol. Was underwhelmed by the level of service and responsiveness. Will definitely rent in Cowboy Heaven again, but never again through Natural Retreats.

Great location!! Not the cleanest
Great location to stay. The pictures are deceiving. The master bathroom is just a toilet and stand alone shower. The sink isn't in the bathroom, it is located in the master bedroom as you walk in. The washing machine smelled of mold. The washer and dryer are located in the master bedroom closet. Also, not on the pictures of the location. Could not wash clothes if planning on going to bed. There was a plastic ziploc and uno card under the ottoman in the living room and clump of hair was found on the floor in the guest bedroom from the previous guests, so the floors were not cleaned/vacuumed.

Perfect family location
We stayed for our spring break trip with our four kids, ages 4-11. It was the perfect location to ski in and out for our kids, and our younger two kiddos especially...right down to the ski school at Madison Base. On our day off from the slopes, we enjoyed sledding down the small hill right out the back door. The hot tub was perfect to relax in after our days on the slopes. The amenities in the cabin were a little outdated...but the cabin was so cozy and perfectly located, that it wasn’t a big deal for our crew. The beds were super comfy, and the fireplace was warm and toasty. All in all, a perfect location can’t be beat...we all forward to a return visit. Thank you.

Cozy cabin in a truly ski in/ski out location!
This was our first time to Big Sky and we were recommended to these cabins by a friend. This one truly is ski in/ski out and we used that feature every single day, including ducking in for lunch about half the days. The cabin itself is quaint and cozy and very well appointed. It was perfect for our family of 4. The hot tub just 5 steps from your front door is a special treat and we used it every day, surrounded by snow covered trees. Moonlight Basin in general is a little trip from the Mountain Village which works for some (quiet and relaxed) but maybe not all. Our kids were in ski school, so we found it easiest to drive them down and then drive back up for us to ski out for the day. We truly enjoyed this peaceful, charming spot.

Fun family weekend
This small cabin was great for our family's vacation weekend. We had a minor maintenance issue which was fixed in a matter of hours while we were out skiing. We were able to ski out the front door, though getting back to the cabin was a short hike each time. Very convenient to grab lunch and head back out for more runs. The kids had a great time sledding down Gambler and hiking back up it. It was nice to relax in the hot tub once the lifts closed. We were very glad to have washer/dryer to clean the ski layers. Even though there are a number of cabins in the area, the surrounding trees provide enough privacy that you don't feel like your neighbors are sharing your vacation. We definitely enjoyed ourselves!

Big Sky Ski trip
Great spot for our annual 4 guys ski trip. Kitchen could use some upgrades but we fixed all meals in cabin -- it's convenient enough to ski-in for lunch -- and managed well. Management very considerate.
