It’s an old historic building, which is cool, but it’s an old historic building. We stayed in room 101 which I think might be right above the boiler / heater. Every 45 minutes It sounded like a maintenance man literally entered our room and beat on our radiator with a hammer for a minute or so. Didn’t last long, but definitely enough to wake us up every 45 minutes. Bed was awesome, building was really cool, but we didn’t get much sleep.

It was such a beautiful historic property with great character. We appreciated it being pet friendly. The staff were amazing and very welcoming. If we needed anything, they were extremely responsive. The breakfast was well done and the pianist in the evening was an elegant touch. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

This is a historic hotel with a lot if character. The owners continue to try and maintain the property while adhering to the history. The staff were very pleasant and professional. And the breakfast was wonderful. I will stay here again.

Beautiful area, beautiful historic hotel. No bells and whistles, but true to the hostoric nature of the hotel. Only warning is to NOT eat dinner there..we did as I was travelling with elderly parents... not the best. Free breakfast, but SLOW.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They do a great job of showing the history of the property and the area. The beds themselves were old (like me) and quite uncomfortable. I had difficulty staying asleep and woke up with my back aching each morning. An “easy” fix with some new mattresses.
