Grizzly Inn is a cozy, well equipped cabin with wood throughout the home. The home sits on a large lot with a circle drive and plenty of parking space. There are lots of deer to be seen in the yard and room to roam the property in this very quiet neighborhood. The house sits at an altitude of 4080 feet in the northern side of Beech Mountain.
In the downstairs living area there is a stone gas log fireplace and a smart tv which gives you access to most of your favorite streaming apps. There is also a DVD player. The entire home has Skyline Skybest Digital Plus Cable TV and Wi-Fi internet. In the living room there is a sectional sofa . Perfect to kick back and relax while watching TV or just sitting in front of the fireplace.
The dining room table comfortably seats six. A half bathroom is in the hall downstairs also. A stackable washer/dryer are included. The kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless appliances. All necessary cooking utensils, plates, glassware, pots and pans are included. Both a Keurig and a traditional coffee maker are available.
Outside the kitchen is the deck which has a gas grill. Camp chairs are located in a closet by the kitchen. A family only needs to bring their food and drinks for a fun getaway trip.
Upstairs you will find a master bedroom with a king bed and master bath. The 2nd bedroom has a double daybed with a single trundle. A second full bathroom is in the hall beside the 2nd bedroom. Both bedrooms have their own televisions and separate cable TV control boxes. One has a Roku and the other has an Amazon Firestick.
The home sleeps a maximum of 5 guests. This is made up of two in the master bedroom king bed, two on the daybed in the 2nd bedroom, and one on the trundle in the 2nd bedroom. The seating at the dining room table is for 6.
The home is just a few minutes from the restaurants on Beech Mountain Parkway, the ski slopes, and Fred's General Mercantile. Local attractions include the town of Beech Mountain and its ski slopes, Beech Mountain's Buckeye Recreation Center, Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain ski slopes, Grandfather Mountain, Linville, Boone, and Blowing Rock. Bring your hiking shoes. The Wild Iris Loop hiking trail is one street over from the home.
Our home has a minimum 2 night rental, more for holidays, and is available for weekly and monthly rentals throughout the year. Check with owners to verify weekly and monthly rates.
The home was built in 2006 and has never been lived in full time. It looks and smells practically new. Pets are allowed with a pet fee of $75. Please notify owner in advance if you are bringing a pet to the home before booking and include pet fee when making your reservation.
The owners supply the following items at the home: bed linens, bath linens, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, and a kitchen trash bag.
