Lovely place!

This was a lovely place to stay! It has a lot of character and a lot of history. This place won’t be for everyone, especially if your looking for luxury, but it was cozy, clean and had just about everything one would need. You do need to bring all your own toiletries if you are staying here. The kitchen comes with pots and pans and all the essentials for cooking basic meals. We did not schedule a tour with the place but did get to see the main part of the house because one of the tour guides was nice enough to quick show us the place before we left! I wish we had taken that tour! This place is indeed haunted, which doesn’t bother me one bit but might bother others. My sister & I did have a ghostly experience that we definitely can’t explain and even though we were alittle spooked it was fascinating. We did not feel at all threatened being there so no worries, as I said before it has a lot of history so it’s not surprising! I would definitely stay here again! The road work in Wiscasset is alittle bit of a pain but your right on the main road to be able to visit all the cool shops and bakeries! Damariscotta is only another 20 minutes down the road if you want to visit another nice town with more options for shopping, restaurants etc...

Had a great stay in Maine. The house was in a great location. Keep in mind it is very old but very cool.
