Pros: Not much.
There was no remote in the room and the first one they brought did not work, bathroom door had a whole kicked in it. The ac was set to cold and it was 40?degrees outside, so we froze walking into room. Burnt out light bulb. nothing in room, I.e. Coffee maker or even a pen and paper. I have stayed in many equally priced hotels and this was the lowest of them.

OK place, convenient locationPosted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: It was the least expensive in the area
Cons: The outside could use a little sprucing up. I noticed a couple broken windows on some of the rooms as well.
Location: It was a great location for the Brainerd area.
My experience started out VERY strange. I got to Brainerd a little after 3:00 and decided to check in. I found the hotel and it look closed/abandoned. There wasn't a car in the parking lot. I decided to drive up and check it out anyway and saw the lights on inside, so I went in. After waiting several minutes and not seeing anyone I started calling out to see if anyone was there. There were cleaning carts in the hallways and I heard a TV in one of the rooms that a cleaning cart was sitting outside of. Apparently someone had been there, but there appeared to be no one around. After about 15-20 minutes I decided to leave. While driving down the road I called the hotel (maybe someone would hear the phone?). No answer. I figured I'd have to find another hotel, and it was a very busy weekend in the area. I decided to call the hotel again a couple hours later and was greeted with a real person and confirmed my reservation. I did stay at the hotel for two nights, and was happy when I drove up to check-in that I wasn't the only guest! Overall an OK hotel for the money.

Continental breakfast was just 2 cereals. We booked 4 rooms based on the fact that they had a continental breakfast...

Four day August stay with wife and grandchildren.Posted Aug 16, 2015 on Hotels
Basically OK. My wife and three granddaughters stayed four nights. Though reservations were made a couple months in advance, the room only had towels and such for two people. Requested additional towels. Each day, dirty towels were removed but only towels for two persons were left in the room. Had a room with two double beds which were very comfortable, pillows also. For some reason housekeeping would only make up one of the beds each morning which was puzzling. In the bathroom, grout in floor tiles was missing which freaks me out. No mini-coffeemaker in room which was weird. Window view was of a mechanics lot containing apparently cars kept for parts. No big deal to us. The AC doesn't have a setting which keeps the fan running all the time which caused me to have trouble sleeping. It was warm enough that we needed the cooling but the cycling on and off is very unpleasant for those with sleep problems. We looked for a cheap price and I feel we got about what we paid for, but coffee in the room and made-up beds isn't too much to expect.

Thank you for taking your time to give us your valued feedback on our accommodations. You are quit correct about not having a coffee maker in each room, however, we do offer coffee in our lobby 24 hours a day. Thank you again for your time and also for your business.

Brainerd visitPosted Jul 31, 2015
She did not care that the coffee was pure water and undrinkable. Her comment was " I don't drink coffee". Waffel maker did not work for the three days I was there. Just go buy another one ..... how much can they be? $20 ?? It looked liked homeless people lived in a small trailer in the back yard. Smelled like dope morning and night coming out of the Room 129 window. This is where the "manager lived"

shower was similar to a trivago before scene. Air conditioner was nosy. Front desk(when I was able to see her, she was pleasant) was basically nonexistent. Clientele were overly boisterous outside my room(which faced the front) at 11p.m. (approx.) and more so at around 1:15 a.m.

nightmarePosted Jul 28, 2015 on Hotels
First room given had unmade beds, pizza boxes on floor and TV running. Second room ,no light in bathroom, toilet wouldn't flush. To top it off, no waffles for breakfast. Waste of money! !

Poor place. Not worth the money. You would be better off in a tent!
