"This is a great guesthouse and if you are lucky and get one of the front facing rooms, you get the best sea view in Tropea. The manager was very responsive and provided one of the best breakfasts on your own balcony every morning. Good value and only 10 mins walk from the train station."

"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. It’s next to a main road but we can’t hear anything in the room. The room is simple but super super clean and well maintained. Comes with very clean toilet and shower. Mini fridge. "The hotel & staff exceeded our expectations at Sui Generis! We absolutely loved that it was boutique and intimate yet with a luxury feel. The breakfast every morning was amazing and the room was very spacious! The two cleanings a day was such a treat. The hotel will also provide you pool & beach towels to use which was very nice. It is also just a 5-6 minute walk to the lively city centre. I would highly recommend them for any visit to Tropea, we would definitely stay here again :)"
