Don't stay here!
I emailed ( will post that email at the end) Susan Bigham the property manager about my concerns from our stay on 3/1/21 and haven't heard anything back as of 3/8/21. So obviously Susan doesn't care to address the issues with this property. So if you are going to stay here just know what you are getting into. "Hi Susan, I have gotten a few emails to review our stay (2/22-2/25) and we were very disappointed and I wanted to give you the chance to address this before completing a probably very negative review. 1. When we first walked into the house in the laundry room there was a bucket with old mop water. Not a great first impression to say the least. 2. The Keurig machine had water in the tank from who knows when. Clearly this isn't sanitary. 3. We had to bring up firewood for the the stove. Asking guests to do this, is like telling them they can use your hot tub but only if they bring their own water! 4. The instructions for use of the hot tub on the door and in the welcome book aren't consistent. If you are giving instructions for using something make sure they are clear. They said to use 2 scoops of chemicals after use. How much is a scoop? Which chemicals (there were at least 4-5 different ones)? Plus the defoamer was frozen from being left in the storage shed outside, not in the inside cabinet as described. 5. Having a camera over the hot tub felt very much like an invasion of privacy. 6. We personally picked up multiple cigarette butts around the hot tub area. GROSS! 7. There were multiple piles of dog poop on the ice/snow on the patio near the hot tub that we had to make sure we didn't step on and started to smell after the ice/snow had melted some. 8. The patio that the hot tub is on has a lot of snow and ice which should have been cleared so we could have use of that area had we wanted to. 9. The mattress in the master bedroom was horrible. Sleep is a very high commodity while on vacation, and this mattress made that nearly impossible. It is worn out to say the least. Now, all of this we were willing to look over but this last one just really ruined it all. 10. I had reached out to you about the propane for the outdoor grill. You told me it was provided, well there were two tanks, one on the grill and one in the garage. When I went to turn the grill on the tank was empty (yes I made sure the tank was "open". So no big deal, I will get the one from the garage, well it was empty too. SOOO our last night celebration dinner was ruined.

5/5 Excellent

Comfy place out in the mountains
comfy place to stay with friends and pets. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and all type of utensils and a large table and couch for hanging out. Definitely bring games and such as the TV has very limited options (just due to be out in a secluded place).

5/5 Excellent

Christmas 2020 and New Years
The inside of the home is beautiful, and the views are amazing. We enjoyed the snow, the hot tub, all of the games and the great movie selection. It was the perfect trip for our family to unwind and unplug.

5/5 Excellent

Great Mountain House
The house was very nice, and very clean. The hot tub was heated and on before we got there, which was really nice. The kitchen had plenty of cookware and dishes. The location was also less than an hour from skiing and scenic byways. The only negative was the bed in the smaller bedroom with the bear on the wall. It was incredibly uncomfortable, and two of us slept on the couch after the first night.

3/5 Okay

Great views, beautiful house, nasty hot tub.
First off, the house itself is absolutely amazing. It's a pretty decent size with an open concept living/dining/kitchen area. The living room has an amazing view of a couple of mountain peaks that is breathtaking. The location is nice because it is convenient to the highway but still off the beaten path. There are a few houses nearby so the place is not isolated. The downside is the beds are terrible and the hot tub is very nasty. We read past reviews that mentioned the same thing, but we hoped because of those reviews, the issues had been taken care of. Well, I ended up sleeping on the couch because 2 of the 3 beds were so bad I couldn't fall asleep and the third bed, my friend slept in. The master bad really just needs to be thrown out. You fall straight into the middle when you climb in. Beds are too cheap for this company to be skimping. As for the hot tub, we could tell it had not even been checked before our stay, which is highly upsetting. There was brown film stuck to the sides of the tub that we ended up cleaning and then adding the chemicals they require you to add after every use. Afterwards, since the film didn't come back, we thought we would use it. Bad idea because we both had rashes for two weeks after. This house has the potential to be a 5 star house, but the whole reason we booked this vacation was to get away from people and use the hot tub. I am really hoping that after this review someone will go clean that hot tub out. The water is murky. There are clear signs that the water needs to be changed. I'm honestly just ashamed that they didn't even check the hot tub before our arrival considering they aren't leaving a day between stays so the previous guests were there that morning.
