Not as described

Nice folks, nice rooms but the rest of the property appears mostly abandoned & in much dis-repair. Pool not useable as well as the mini golf. Never saw another guest and the property is down a long, rough gravel road. The actual rooms are nice, clean and comfortable but is no resort by any means. Water barely ran in the shower and took a full 10 minutes before it warmed up. No WIFI except in limited areas, limited times. Have read several other internet reviews & seriously doubt their validity.

We will be back

Posted Feb 20, 2013 on Hotels
We just go back from Costa Rica.We stay at the resort for a weekend , it was the most relax weekend that we had in a long time. It was the perfect place if you want to go away from the routine of the city. The place was clean , comfortable and the staff very good people, they were always there to answer our questions about the apt for the spa and the organized tours. In few words it is a great place to enjoy and to learn how to appreciate different things in life. We will be back soon with our family. We recommend this place for whoever needs a little time in a very different and beautiful place.

Great Place!!!

Pros: Love the pool and the amazing nature surrounding the property
Location: Very convenient away from the city noise, and 6 km away from the beach.
After travelling in Nicaragua, it was such a pleasure to come to this place (again). This was my second time we stayed at Inti Resort. I can’t say enough about the staff...everyone was so genuine in trying to make sure everything was just right. The gardens are beautiful and the new restaurant amazing. , the food is great; the attention to detail by Gaby the main Chef at the restaurant was incredible. Room was immaculate clean. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking or a true tropical retreat, keeping the ecology of the planet seem the main concern of this hotel Now if you are looking for telephones on the room, room service and the luxury of the city you better keep looking. 3 miles off the main path

Way over priced for what you get. Including taxes. Even if the price was HALF what I paid, it would be too much. My advice: there's much nicer places for less $'s.

Not a resort, more like a motel

Posted Jan 5, 2013
Pros: The staff were friendly, the scenery is beautiful (lots of nature)
Cons: The management was never around, nothing worked
Location: In the middle of nowhere - far from the beach, far from town, far from everything!
First and foremost: This hotel is a 5 km drive into the jungle along a winding, steep gravel road. If you are driving yourself you will need 4WD, if you are not then I would recommend staying somewhere else. Also, there is no internet here at all, and no phones in the rooms. The hotel maintained a veneer of 4 star quality, but once you scratched the surface nothing lived up to the hype. NOTHING WORKS! The tennis courts were cracked, the mini golf course was overgrown and flooded, the spa saunas were nonfunctional and the games room only had a working foosball table (the pool table did not work). The "yoga area" was a roofed area down the hill, there was no yoga instructor on site. The food at the restaurant was excellent, but the menu was limited with just 3 pasta dishes and 4 entrees, and there isn't anywhere else to eat without driving. The hotel offers a supposed shuttle service to various locations, but we were charged between $15-$30 USD each way, including pickup from our previous hotel. The room itself was quite basic, with creaky wooden floors, paper thin walls and a bathroom that was questionable at best. It was shabbier than a roadside motel in North America. Twice the water simply shut off! The management was terrible but the staff were quite nice. While few spoke English, they really tried to make our stay the best it could be. Overall the place was just disappointing, my wife and I were looking forward to a beautiful resort and we got a cheap motel.
