      Very close to U of C,

      Thanks for a wonderful stay! The condo is very clean and quiet, we were able to walk a short distance to the U of C and restaurants and groceries right next door. The building is very secure which is great, just make sure to follow the check in instructions as provided.. I even did a little Christmas shopping at a small mall next door!

        stay in April

        This place suited us as for , location etc... We did have some problems with understanding access, the parking under ground has no marking for what areas are for witch spots. Could use some face cloths and hand towels, we went and bought our own. There are no curtains so it was bright, so child woke up very early.

          Nice Location. Inadequate Apartment.

          This condo/apartment was under furnished, under stocked and unclean. This apartment had no drawers or spaces for clothes in the bedrooms. No nightstands or bedroom furniture besides beds. The second small bedroom had no widow. The living room furniture consisted of a very small love seat, a tiny, wobbly coffee table and a TV. The apartment was very cold especially when sitting trying to watch TV. The large living windows, which were not well insulated, were next to the love seat. When I asked the owner about how to turn up the heat I was scolded by the owner asking me if 20 degrees wasn't warm enough for me. While there was a dishwasher there were not enough dishes in the kitchen to justify using it. It had dishes in it when we arrived. Two of the plates I took from the cupboard were dirty, as in never washed. The same was true of some of the cutlery. Overall not a good experience.

            Practical, comfortable, and very convenient as a base for Calgary and Banff. Lovely host.

            Great time, a month in Calgary. We took seven day trips for hiking in Banff, Yoho, and Kootenay National Parks. Three drives to Calgary-area historic attractions. Downtown Calgary is easily accessible by train. Kathleen was a great host; she and her husband helped us move in. Beautiful view of Nose Hill (highest point in Calgary; great hiking). Very secure, near shopping and eating. Definitely would return.

              Condo is nice but extremely basic and area is under construction

              Kathleen is very nice and her condo is fine but more suited to university students than working adults. The bedding, towels, kitchen amenities are all very basic - not even a salt and pepper shaker anywhere. I wouldn't call it a two bedroom - it is more like a one bedroom and den (no windows and single bed in den). The area is under construction and therefore not very quiet. The outside of the building is not clean, very dirty, dusty etc. probably because of the time of year and the neighbouring construction. Crowchild Trail is right next to the building so it is like staying downtown with traffic. The tenants in the building are not very clean. The neighbouring condo uses their balcony as a garbage / recycling facility. The balcony is shared with this unit and divided by a piece of glass. It's too bad because the sun sets beautifully on this unit and from the 12th floor the mountains look incredible as the sun goes down. Tenants taking their garbage out drop all kinds of pieces in the hallways and elevator and don't clean up after themselves. University living not adult living. If you are a university student or fresh out of university life, it's perfect. If you are looking for a temporary home away from home with a bit of quiet at the end of a stressful day I would keep looking.
