Awesome pyramids!

The pyramids was an absolute stun with all the restaurants and activities to get busy with. I enjoyed the circus and the live Jazz bands as well. Besides the clogged shower drain my experience with the pyramids was great!

Great entertainment

Pros: The entertainment
Cons: Better brand of vodka for martini
Location: 50 cent bus ride downtown, lots of shops and bars
We were in a group of 10 people, we were able to eat, drink and be entertained as a group. The food was about the same or better than other all inclusive hotels.( we ate in 10 different restraints) Plenty of pool seats, big beach area with beds. We have been to this resort before with a great experience and requested a room away from the young people end of the pool. For some reason they could not do this when we arrived and would of had to move after the first night. We chose not to move and still had a good time.

Nice Hotel close to the beach

People are friendly very helpful and the whole time I was there I felt safe everybody is in party mode and wants to have a good time Ridizzio steak house was the best restaraunt at that hotel .

Nice hotel, friendly, fun, want to come back

It was great since we arrive. Beautiful view! Great food and drinks. A lot of activities to do, concerts, games, dancers, clubs. For dinner make sure you do reservation before 6 pm because it gets full very fast. Overall I enjoyed my time there and Im willing to come back and recommended to friends

Grand oasis

Overall, it's a decent hotel for the prize I paid. Staff can get grumpy. Beer is the only drinkable thing offered. beach is nice. Pool is nice. Try to eat at the the restaurants. Buffet food is very repetitive and have plenty of room for improvement. Breakfast is good.

Great resort with a mix of everything

Ive been to this resort two times in the past 3 years. I would say mostly the food is good, with the exception the italian restaurant. There are lots of restaurants to choose from so you arent locked down, just be there around 6pm for the popular spots. Theres a good mix of everything to do in this resort, there is a relaxing beach side and the party type of beach side (same with the pool). They have clubs, lots of shows and entertainment at night. Rooms are clean and you can request a lock for the safe in your room (free depending on your package). The staff is friendly and willing to help when they can. I could recommend this place to the open minded. If you want a resort just to relax with no noise please try somewhere else because you could be placed on the party side.

Not 3 1/2 star worthy

Pros: It was close to the beach.
Cons: All the basics of hospitality.
The view out our sliding glass door was a red roof. The view out our room door was a cleaning cart. And yes it was parked there all week. When we checked in we did not get a lock for the safe. We were told that they were all out. How do you not have enough locks for a safe in every room? There were about 10 pillows on each bed. They were decorative but useless and they took up space in the room so we neatly stacked them on the floor now the floor had sand on it so when they replaced them every day the sand ended up in the beds. One day we didn't get a bath mat or hand towels replaced. There is a glass wall in the room between the toilet and the beds. It's frosted but really do you want to see your partner use the rest room. We went with two other couples. One room had toilet paper stuffed into the peep hole and their key wouldn't work. After changing the key 3 times in one day and pretty much begging for help it wasn't until they were totally locked out that the hotel staff decide to deal with the problem. The other room's air conditioning didn't work. we originally asked for different rooms and were told they were all the same and booked solid. Really?? They just didn't care. PS. We ended up getting locks for our safes but we had to go begging for them the following days. The food was awful. My biggest beef is with Expedia for doing business with this type of establishment. We have stayed at a 3 1/2 star before. It was more like a 5 compared to the grand oasis

You get what you pay for

The price was definitely too good to be true. Rooom not available until 10 pm. Food was terrible . There was littler all over the grounds and certain areas of the beach. They seemed to be very short staffed. Long wait to eat even with several open tables. Good if you're in you're 20s and don't care about much. Would not bring children.

It was OK, I would not stay here again.

Pros: Pools, scenery.
Cons: Check in process, staff, food.
Location: Quick taxi ride from downtown where all the clubs and bars are, pretty convenient.
Yes the pools are nice, the scenery is great, the ocean view is awesome, but that's pretty much it. The check-in process is very organized and mismanaged, and takes a long time. I was disappointed because I booked a room with 2 beds and I was given a room with 1 bed. Beds are not very comfortable in my opinon. Some of the bars are seriously under staffed and it takes way too long to get drinks. The food is pretty bad.
