Relaxing getaway and sparkling clean
We were able to stay a week in this home away from home and had an excellent, relaxing time! Jennifer was very prompt in getting back to me regarding questions and was very accommodating to our 3 children 2 and under! In addition to having some kids books there, she also provided 2 pack-n-plays (both brand new!) and a highchair. The first thing we noticed upon entering was how clean everything was! It felt very much like going home to my old house in the mountains and it did my heart good. The only thing I would say to make sure and bring is some extra kitchen supplies (can opener and cookie sheet) if lile me you're planning on cooking most meals in the house for a week. Most other kitchen things were provided however and all looked brand new! Thank you again for everything! We hope to come stay again some day! Ps- above was a negative review regarding locals. I went into town several times and never felt unwelcome. Everyone was friendly and kind.

beautiful location yet a few things that could be improved
We stayed at the property for a long weekend while attending a conference in the area. The house was beautiful and located in a an ideal setting in the National Forest. Amenities were great! Cleanliness was great! A few things... There are no curtains on any windows and that can be a huge drawback for many people. We ended up all sleeping in one room as we were a bit creeped out by the secluded location and no window treatments. The morning we left, we found about 8 rat/large mouse droppings on a bed that someone had slept in a previous night. The rat/mouse droppings were not there when we got there, the room was vacant for the night and a rat pooped all over the bed. Then, as we were stripping the other bed in the room, we found a nest from said rat/mouse in the box spring. So, one person in our group slept on a rat/mouse nest during the stay. One of our group was awoken in the night by scratching sounds the previous night and we then understood that it was the critter in the bed upstairs.

Beautiful & Pristine
Clean and basic accommodations set in a breathtaking location surrounded by trees and a beautiful creek to explore just down the hill. Host is very responsive and helpful. Close to lots of trails and places to explore. Very quiet and private. No Wi-Fi and weak cell service for Verizon phones. It’s definitely. Great place to unwind and unplug.

Great value, Terrible locals!
Property was extremely clean and the check in process was a breeze! Great value for the price! However, the locals are very rude and do not like outsiders. You get greeted with a big sign that was spray painted “Locals Only, Respect our Community!” Whenever we passed by a local walking or driving, we received dirty looks. They are also very territorial of the Wind River. We were on public trails along the river and getting nasty looks! We decided to drive 30 minutes away and fish to avoid any confrontations with locals. The property was great, but the locals ruined it for us. I would not book this property again.
