“The Hilton Cartagena in El Laguito is a magnificent hotel. Our stay was perfect, from location, to staff, breakfast buffet, cleanliness, hotel room, pools, beach, just everything. The beds are the most comfortable I've slept in. The pillows, mattresses and pillows are so plushy and inviting. All employees go above and beyond to make guests feel at home. Another top thing is the silence at night. It's soundproof and we get to sleep in peace. My husband and I can't wait to go back! ”

They didn’t want us leaving the AC on, so instead of giving us a second key, we were told we had to go to reception, and the receptionist would come up and open the door for us. “From the moment we walked into the, it was uncomfortably hot. There is no AC in the lobby or hallways, and when we got to our room it was just as hot. The room never properly cooled down throughout the entire weekend. We even had to call maintenance to check the AC because it felt like it was not working. Although they came to look at it, the room remained very warm the entire stay. Cleanliness was a major issue. The hotel felt extremely dirty. There were cockroaches, the shower curtain was……
