While we were there we saw fireflies, an owl, bunnies, a doe and fawn, chipmunks, squirrels, cardnials, and many others birds. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. “We came to Clear Lake for a concert at the Surf. The house is very close! The host let me know about the farmer’s market in the parking lot of the Surf on Saturday mornings, so that was very convenient! The games were nice, there was a chair in the living room that we were all obsessed with, and there were a ton of extra blankets and pillows all around the house for lounging! It was a great little house and had more than enough space for our two couples. The host didn’t reach out after check-in...

“We had a fun time staying at this house. We visited downtown Des Moines and had a great time at Adventureland. The only suggestion would be to have some dish towels in the kitchen. The arcade games, ping pong table and skee-ball were popular with the kids. ”

The lower level was stocked with everything you need to make your dog comfy and the fenced in yard was great too! Mike and Abby were easy to contact about check in and anything else we needed. We hope to stay again in the near future. ”
