“What mattered most on this trip was the location (near many walkable points of interest, my arrival/departure location and multiple transit lines), the privacy and access to a kitchen. That last was more than adequate for my needs: a full-sized refrigerator to store breakfast items, beverages and restaurant leftovers, a toaster and microwave and, to my delight, an electric teakettle. On my arrival and first night I had to ask for clothes hangers — the room had none — and occupants down the hall……
