Grassy Mountain View

Located within several acres of secluded forest, Grassy Mountain View cabin is ideal for the nature lover, ready to explore the North Georgia Mountains, and the cabin dweller, eager to withdraw from everyday life. The cabin comfortably accommodates up to 6-7 guests, with several entertainment and recreation areas, such as a fire pit, recreation room, and comfortable living area around one of two gas fireplaces. The cabin has high-speed internet and several TVs, but most engaging are the breathtaking views of the mountains that surround the cabin. From the comfort of the indoors or on the patio, you have panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and a perfect view of both Grassy Mountain and Bald Knob. The hiking, mountain biking, and exploring options are endless nearby in the  Chattahoochee National forest or Fort Mountain State Park. The cabin even has a few small trails within our own development. After a long day on the trails, guests are welcome to dip into the spa hot tub or schedule an in-cabin massage.

This cabin has outside surveillance.

We are applying a “Booking Buffer” to all our reservations. All reservations will have 24 hours between bookings to allow for proper cleaning and disinfection.

Quick Mountain Getaway
We had the best time! The cabin is in the perfect setting with the most amazing view from all three bedrooms. We even saw a bear on our way in. Everything was clean and stocked with exactly what we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Cabin is better in person than the pictures make it look! Pool table needs refelted and some furniture is old but we all had a great time. Bears were around so it was hard to walk the dogs but otherwise it was great!

wants and needs
When friends and family come to my house I like to think I have everything they could want or need. The kitchen pots and pans could have been a lot nicer. (more sizes of pots etc) It would have nice to have an electric skillet. Simple things would have made the stay better. I as a guest should not have to worry about things like that when you know your guests will be cooking. The upper part of the driveway is a little difficult to get too. I don't know if more gravel would help.

Pool table needs a refresh. Batteries in remotes need replaced or leave an extra box to replace as needed. Light bulbs need replaced. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. View was great. Would stay again.

Property with Amazing Views
We spent most of our time sitting on the porch with amazing views, mostly coolish air & lots of bird song. Everything met our needs The kitchen was amply stocked, beds comfortable & game room/spa was entertainment for visiting family staying at Ft Mountain State Park. Only negative was not being able to drive up to front door because road needs repair. Thank you!

I enjoyed my friends, but the property was not up to par. The yard was not cut, the cover for the jacuzzi smelled like mold, the jacuzzi is in a bad spot the trees, grass was not cut back and it drew a lot of bugs, the deck furniture was not cleaned. And I got bed bugs bites. I slept in the bedroom downstairs they are two beds in this room. The so call fire pit is old and need to be replace. The area to have a fire pit is nothing like the pictures. This property is 1 star!!!!

Beautiful space
I stayed In this cabin with 3 other women and we really enjoyed our stay. The views are absolutely amazing. We loved sitting on the porch drinking coffee in the mornings. Had plenty of chairs for us to all sit out there and there were blankets. There was plenty of space for 4 of us, and definitely could have accommodated several more people comfortably. The beds were pretty comfortable. We enjoyed the jacuzzi. There were two fireplaces but we didn’t use them so can’t speak on those. Getting up the gravel driveway was manageable. We had had smaller SUVs so it wasn’t a real issue. I could see, however, if it was rainy or snowy that it could be a little difficult. There was an upper section of gravel road that led to the front door, I could absolutely not make it up that portion. My tires spun out. It is very steep and loose gravel. But it is not necessary to use that portion of the driveway. The place was very clean. It only took about 15 minutes to get to downtown Ellijay.

BEST PLACE TO UNPLUG!

Great view, great porch, great location, mediocre house
The setting for this property is superb. The view is outstanding. The porch overlooking the view was dynamite. We tried to spend most of our time on the porch taking in the mountain-top view. The physical house was clean but it was just cluttered with decorations that seemed like they were bought on deep discount at TJ Maxx. The basement had an expansive area for a pool table (that has seen better days) but it was so expansive it seemed kind of empty. The hot tub was nice but it seemed like it needed a deep cleaning. I got in it and had no problems but others in the party objected to its smell and wouldn't partake. Overall, I would recommend the place because nothing is perfect and we were there for the outdoors, not for spa treatment. It was a great base for us as we explored Amacola Falls and Ellijay.

The view, hot tub, and cookout area on the porch just can’t be beat!!! It is a rather steep climb, but our vehicle made it. While the view is wonderful, I wish there were drapes or blinds to block out the sun when wanting to sleep in a little. This was our second stay at this location, and we hope to stay again for every Teardrop race we attend in Chatsworth.

The view from this property is breathtaking! If you're looking for a long, wide mountain view you've definitely found it! We enjoyed the house as well. I definitely recommend printing the directions, because GPS is NOT going to get you there AND the sign for the home is old and difficult to read. But once you're there you're going to love it. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and looking over expansive views that stretched for what seemed like miles. And if you bring your dog they will love walking through nature with you. Highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway!
We loved everything about this property and hope to go back! Our only minor critique is that there really isn’t a fire pit. We paid extra for firewood and it wasn’t worth the time and energy and definitely not worth extra money. The pit is just a metal tub. No chairs, or really anywhere to sit and just disappointing. Kind of hard to sell it as a fire pit. Other than that....perfect!

Great stay with fantastic property. All necessities were covered like towels, dishes, pans to cook in, and even some spices in the cabinet. A little far away from town, ~30 minutes, but the views were worth it and the cabin was beautiful with comfortable beds, a deck and hot tub with a view, very nice grill and plenty of space for gathering.

The nicest view we’ve ever had staying at a cabin. Soaked in the hot tube most of the time while enjoying the beautiful mountains. Cabin was clean and taken care of! Nicely furnished. This is definitely at the top of our rental cabin list! Had some snow the night before leaving - was told we could stay another night or check out later if we were not comfortable leaving! Unfortunately, the roads were iced over and we were unable to stay for the first night of our trip. However, the communication from the property manager was great, and we were able to enjoy a dog-friendly small town she recommended while we waited the following day. Overall, the view was as beautiful as promised. We had a fantastic time.
