“They put us on the 1st floor as requested, but not sure if that was coincidence or not. We had dogs, and got put towards the back door. That would have been nice, getting the dogs in and out, but the back door was broken, could only go out. On the room, sat in the chair, which looked like it was out of the 1970s, and it smelled like urine. Breakfast was decent, nothing special.”

“Tried to check in. The whole lobby had a very pungent smell and dim lighting. The room I had booked was unavailable because the roof was leaking and the room was wet. They offered me a different room at a discount, but the whole place seemed run down and way too close to the noisy highway. I just had them cancel my reservation.”

“Great for those a tight budget. Clean, comfortable and convenient to Columbia shopping and restaurants. Few amenities. Only electrical outlets was over the bathroom sink. ”

“Air was off in the room when I arrived with a heat index of 100+F. It took 2 hours to get the temperature down enough to sleep. The ac unit was loud and very dirty and ran non-stop all night. Very old everything. No elevator. Stairs hadn’t been vacuumed in who knows how long.”

“I booked a single bed room and paid for it. When I was about to check in, the front desk told me that my information was not in the system. I said how could it be possible, so I showed him my payment receipt. After a long time, they suddenly told me that they found it and upgraded my room for free. In the end, they gave me a room with two beds. I told the front desk that I was alone! Unpleasant”

“nice hotel！affordable price ,not far away from the airport or college or downtown. Offered breakfast and they can help you call the cab.the nearest restaurant are five minute walk. Quite enviroment，barely have noise at night or day time. If you want to cook yourself， you can borrow pan and pot from counter. there coffee are really good”

“I really enjoyed my stay here. Some reviews were negative but after seeing thus place for myself I gave it 5 stars the rooms were great and the beds were so comfortable. I especially love the lodge decor.”
