“Why is this place so expensive? It is a very typical older hotel and should be $70-90 per night, not $170.
I should have stopped in Columbia or continued on to Kirksville.
It is clean, with friendly staff and the breakfast was fine but the price is more appropriate for a much more deluxe place.”
“I booked a single bed room and paid for it. When I was about to check in, the front desk told me that my information was not in the system. I said how could it be possible, so I showed him my payment receipt. After a long time, they suddenly told me that they found it and upgraded my room for free. In the end, they gave me a room with two beds. I told the front desk that I was alone! Unpleasant”
“This is a Motel 6. No, really. If you can't find "Hotel Bleu," that's because it still has a Motel 6 sign. It's an okay 3 star Motel 6. No more, no less.”
“We stay at this chain often. The food is going downhill. Meatballs with mashed potatoes have been eliminated. Breakfast looks good but was terrible this time. We were early but the food was cold and just did not taste good. I had the scrambled eggs with cheese. The potatoes were terrible. The biscuit delicious. The staff in this area were excellent. The room was great. My only complaint is the food. We often are willing to pay more for this convenience but I don’t think we will in the future.”
