Room was big, but thats it

Posted Jun 5, 2015
Pros: the room was big
Location: The location looked like a ghost town. run down buildings in area. terrible roads leading to hotel
Terrible customer service.Pool was shut down because of crack in the bottom of the pool. The pool was the main reason I booked this hotel in the first place. Upon arrival Front desk attendant kept threatening to charge me $200 if I smoked in the hotel room, which I'm a non smoker and I kept telling him that. Our final night there We had someone knock on our door then come in. Come to find out they had tried to give our room to another family. The front desk person told them to knock on the door and if no one answers just go in.Then it took 25 minutes to check out because the front desk person was sleeping in the office. I had to get the cleaning lady to wake her up.

Awful service. Didn't have a way to confirm reservation with Expedia. Wouldn't accepted printed confirmation.

Totally disappointing

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: It has an attractive lobby, but nothing else likable at all
Cons: Everything could be improved, starting with the staff.
They claimed to have no reservation for us, blaming it on Expedia for the lost reservation. They made the same excuse to others. They was only one person on staff. He was rude, both to us, someone on the phone, and to others in line. He handed the keys to the lady in front of us, who had obviously been waiting a long time. She asked how to get to her room and he said was "It's on the 3rd floor". She proceeded to carrying her things up the stairway in the lobby. When we went to our room we saw the elevator in the hall he had not told her about. The room was a handicapped room which we neither needed nor requested. It had no tub, which we wanted and were not asked if it would be acceptable. The hallway to the room needed vacuuming, the carpet in the room was stained in several places. The room had an unpleasant odor. Continental breakfast was included and opened at 7:00 AM. We arrived a few minutes after 7 and found a few sweet rolls in the case and a couple of bagels. The juice service was out of order. The cereal dispenser (4 bins) had the same cereal (Rice Krispies) in every one. The counter was not clean, there was a half empty cup of cold coffee, and a half full pot of cold coffee. We left. They request turning in the key and check out, but there was no one at the desk and the adjoining office was dark. We called out several time but no response. Another lady attempting to check out pounded on the office door and a man came out rubbing his eyes.

Move On To The Next Place

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Nil
Cons: Customer service, staff.
Location: Plenty of other places to stay in the immeadiate area. No need to bother with these folks.
Tried to not honor any online reservations in order to jack the prices up as there was a big concert in town and rooms were scarce. Desk clerk was very rude to customers and online reps trying to resolve the problems. While waiting in line a customer came downstairs and demanded her money back because, as she put it, "the room looked like it had been picked up but not cleaned between visitors"

Disappointing hotel

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Service
Location: Restaraunts
Very disappointing. Hotel staff were unpleasant and initially tried to state they did not get the reservation. There was no computer in the lobby. Breakfast consisted with only coffee and doughnuts and the pool was closed. There were no cots and no extra blankets when requested.

Never again.

From the moment I arrived at this hotel, I knew I had made a mistake choosing this place. The parking lot was poorly lit and made me feel unsafe. The front desk clerk was unwelcoming and rude. He told me that the expedia connection hadn't been working in over a month and I would have to call Expedia to activate my reservation. After several minutes of arguing, he finally completed the necessary documentation and gave me a key. The room had a bad odor and had not been redecorated from the 1980's. The carpet was badly stained and looked just plain dirty. 6

Awful service

Posted May 31, 2015
The manager was very rude. I booked my hotel through Expedia and he said there was no record of my reservation when I got there. He was not willing to work with me. I left the hotel and he said I was still going to be charged for the room (which I was not staying in). I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy let alone someone else.

Do not go to this HOTEL

Posted May 28, 2015
Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
There wasn't anything good about it. The staff was rude. They wanted to change the price once I got there. It was a very dirty place. I would never go back and other people I spoke to said the same thing.

Thank God its closing down

Posted May 28, 2015
Pros: the night staff. The guy in the morning was rude and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him.
There website said there was a pool and when I got there the pool had been closed for 2 years! It was hot in the lobby and hallway like they didn't want to turn on the air conditioning. The free breakfast consisted of rice crispies, bagels or muffins and milk and orange juice they picked up from Kroger. My room, that I was upgraded to because of the non-pool situation, was OK. I moved a foot stool to find a old used Kleenex under it. The bed was horrible. you sank into the middle of it and the sheets didn't even fit the bed. The jacuzzi tub worked sort of. It would bubble but like it was on its last leg. Out of the two air conditioners in the room, only one worked. The mini fridge froze everything I put in there. Thank God I was only staying there for less than 12 hours. I couldn't take anymore than that.
