Great location but home needs TLC

The house was very clean and the location was wonderful. It is a very short walk to the beach and the views of the gulf from the deck are beautiful. The house needs maintenance. The sliding patio screen door is severely ripped and the living room screens have holes. The blinds on the patio door are broken with several panels missing. Other blinds do not work. The primary bedroom mattress needs to be replaced. It is extremely uncomfortable. Furthermore, there are no toilet paper holders or hooks in the bathrooms. Sadly, all the maintenance issues have been mentioned in reviews from last year. It seems as if they are being ignored and definitely are not mentioned in the property listing.

Island fun

We had a nice time on the island and this house was very comfortable! Next time wer come down we will keep it in mind especially if we have the fur babies with us. The deck has a gate with a latch that will be great for sitting outside with the dogs enjoying that beautiful sunrise!

Great location but…

First of all, this really is a great location. The house is older and so are the fixtures, but it was fine. My problem was more with the cleaning/management company. Upon arrival, the floors were covered in sand. I know this is the beach, but obviously they hadn’t cleaned well. The sheets/beds also had sand in them. The towels and sheets were all stained and very rough. They were also lacking some basic amenities (hair dryer, working TV remotes). The TVs used streaming services, so we couldn’t watch any college football in Alabama on a Saturday. Some simple improvements and it would have been much better.

Dauphin Island Ocean view

Perfect beach home. Neat as a pin, clean as a whistle. Dogs loved it and so did the humans. We will be back.

Perfect Family Get Away!

This was the perfect little getaway before kids going back to school! The property was located on a cute little street and a just a short walk to the beach. We will be back!

Great Location

The house is so close to the beach, only a short walk to the water! The house was in great condition for our arrival. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essential cookware. The bath had plenty of towels. We had a great experience.

Bright and sunny beach house

So many good thing about this rental… location to the beach is walking distance, bright and cheery interior, spacious and well stocked kitchen. Several things could be improved upon. There are no towel racks or toilet paper holders in either bathroom. The closet doors and door to laundry area need fixing as they were extremely difficult to open or close; there are big holes in the screens so opening windows allows bugs to come in. It would have been nice to have a broom inside as coming in from parking your car you get sand on your shoes that sticks even after wiping shoes on the doormat. A starter of coffee pods, salt and pepper would have been welcoming. We appreciated the tank of gas for barbecuing! Overall, it was a good find and we would return. Thank you!

Great Beach Get away

Nice, updated property close to beach. We enjoyed our stay. Management doesn’t reply to messages quickly so if it’s something important you might want to try and call. Otherwise a nice stay.
