Horrible Value!
I stayed in this place for 2 weeks and want to give some honest feedback. I have lived in Colorado for 5 years and am in between homes. Trust me when I say that you can do MUCH better than this unit and location. The spot does look like the pictures, but that is where the nice part ends.
-anyone over 5’11” tall should definitely not rent this place. The ceiling is lowered about 3 feet wide and runs the length of the apartment right by the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. You will hit your head. I’m 5’11” and found myself ducking constantly.
-the immediate neighborhood and town are less than desirable, at best. There are not any decent restaurants nearby or breweries.
-the yard is all dirt. Very unsightly, at best. Zero effort has been made for outside presentation.
-this unit is the basement. “lower level” is very generous.
-you will have no control over the heating/AC in here. The controls are in the ground floor unit above you and cover both living spaces. There is no fan or space heater.
-there is no subtle lighting in the kitchen or living room. It’s either lit like a stadium or dark.
-the cooking pans are not non-stick. I spent 10-15 minutes cleaning scrambled egg off the pan, every day.
-the VRBO page advertises a TV as entertainment. However, there is no cable or any type of subscription to watch. Just the free stuff that comes with a firestick, which is all unwatchable. I contacted the owner and he said “my vrbo page is not misleading. I listed a TV as entertainment and that is what is in the unit”. Wow
-the linens in the beds feel like paper…seriously.
-you will regularly find ants on your toothpaste tube in the bathroom.
-when people are renting the space on the ground floor…you will hear everything loudly...every step, movement of chairs....even their voices.
-I paid $100 for a pet deposit and I’m supposed to get it back if there is no poop in the yard. However, there was already several piles of poop in the back yard upon arrival. What gives?
You can do better…much better.
