"A typical American hotel, I’d say it’s a 3 star. We booked with breakfast, that’s a ‘must do’ you get $50 pp per day allowance, that’s gives you a good selection of food. Rooms were tired although clean. This hotel was probably originally built in the 1960’s, it’s been renovated, in particular the exterior has been re-cladded in red brick, this gives it the appearance of a much newer looking building. 6th Avenue is a 10-15 nice stroll downhill to the waterfront, be mindful the walk back uphill is challenging to say the least, its steep….."
