"Front desk staff need some customer service training. When I approached the desk on Sunday night neither of the two young females greeted me. I had to ask if I could check in. Then the only thing spoken to me was to ask for my cc for incidentals and that I must pay a parking fee. There was no “thank you” or hope you have a great stay or let us know if you need anything…..They set the tone for my stay. This place is fine if you are doing something connected with the university but not if you are a travel or wanting to check out Tuscaloosa."

"The hotel itself has a weird layout; and there is major construction going on next door, so if you have an ocean view (not ocean front) be prepared for it to be loud daily until 5 PM. The night staff was great, but we were harassed on checkout day. I was given permission to check out at 12, but at 11:01, 11:03 and 11:05 our door was knocked on asking us to leave. We gave the same answer that we had permission. At 11:07, the front desk the called very hastily and demand we leave. I explained for the 4th time we were given permission to check out at 12\. Will not return, we will stay in Pensacola Beach next time "
