"This place was unique! I was taken into a time portal to experience the history of the island, yet all the modern comforts were provided. The staff were warm and helpful 24/7. Even though I returned late each day, the doorman stayed outside to look out for me! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a truly personal, rich experience."

"This hotel is overpriced and under delivers. One hot tub on the 400 acre property is totally unacceptable. It was full of children using it like a pool. It's not even high season and every time we went to the beach we had to hunt for lounge chairs. Sometimes it took over 20 minutes to find available chairs. I knew the restaurants were going to be expensive but they were over the top in cost. Definitely a vacation for kids with wealthy parents not a girls trip vibe."

"The rooms were very spacious. The kitchen area was very functional and sufficiently stocked with dishes and cooking equipment for us to have both breakfast and/or lunch. I appreciated being able to choose to eat in or savour one of the many restaurants. The pool was large and never felt crowded. When I come back I will want to stay at the reef."

"Rides were closed half the time pools close at 7pm and there was only 1 jacuzzi on the property which also closed at 7pm. We paid for an ocean view but we had a view of the property. Everything was so overpriced, food, drinks, roundup airport to resort. Food was mediocre nothing to brag about and like I said overpriced. Toilet kept flushing by itself very noticeable during night cause we’re trying to sleep."
